Fun Fact: SCORN was inspired by H. R. Giger; *THIS,* Necrophosis, was inspired by Zdzisław Beksiński.
SCORN is also heavily influenced by Beksinski, the outside sections almost of the game replicate some of his paintings backdrops 1 to 1.
Scorn was both, this game is just Zdzisław Beksiński.

Cautious optimism. Very cool designs. Want to see more in this vein of style, but we almost never get the gameplay elements that make it feel like it's not just an art gallery walking sim.

Definitely has the potential risk to be a pretty walking simulator much like SCORN.
Which I'd be fine with. My expectations are somewhat low especially considering the animations look pretty stiff at times. It seems to have pretty cool art though, so it should prove at least a decent walking sim.

If Beksinski produced a Dark Souls-ish game, this is what it'd probably look like.
There's another upcoming game, Nazralath: the fallen world, with Dark Souls and Beksinski among it's major influences, and it shows. So that makes Necrophosis the second Beksinskiesque game I'm waiting for.
As someone that LOVED SCORN, but loves Beksiński's work much more than Giger's, I have crazy goosebumps right now. Cannot wait for this.

my main question is like scorn where its art inspirations are all it really had going for it will this game just feel like a walking sim or will it be a genuinely enjoyable game with an interesting art style on top of that
