    That’s an Autronic-eye.
    In 1952, GM introduced the Autronic-Eye headlight system that dimmed the high beams when an oncoming vehicle was detected, and then turned them back on when the opposing vehicle passed.

    Super rare and sharp car! Not a big fan of conti kits, but on this type of car with this many options, it's fitting. Slap on those skirts and please put back the original sized steering wheel.

      To be fair some people can't fit in the car if it uses the original size wheel. That's why they made it smaller.

      @@Nebulasecura Yes, I know and understand. At least they added the factory looking steering wheel, just smaller. I like the originality of the factory size steering wheel. The steering wheels from the 50's and most of the 60's is what makes American classic cars so special to me.

      @canibusnj yeah I prefer that style too. I would've done the same here tbh. And the bel air is one of the few cars of the 50s to really nail the beauty and perfect contrasting of the continental kit
