INFJ here. Throughout my life, some of my biggest character growth has come from knowing ISTPs. Under regular circumstances, I wouldn't run in the same circles as the ISTP (I'm reading books and they're rock-climbing. I'm writing about ethics and they're greasing up a motorcycle engine) . However, at work or in happenstance, when I do meet an ISTP, we have so much in common. Our energy is productive, authentic, and SO intense. The word is: growth. It can be platonic and/or romantic but the connection is always genuine. I've noticed that ISTPs challenge me to interact more in the physical world: they bring a balance to my inner world.
