He is so powerful that he died very quickly. I’m actually disappointed that he was killed very quick. I was actually hoping he would be kept alive for another appearance in Venom 3. It would had been cool to actually see Venom & Spider-Man team up to take on Carnage and possibly Toxin in Venom 3. I actually think they made this version of Carnage weak in Venom 2.

Well Venom has eaten Carnage in the comics and that didn't end up well for Venom, so maybe they'll follow on that and have Carnage burst out of Venom and come back for another movie.
Carnage is one of the few villains i'm afraid seeing my favorite heroes fight. Spider-Man has fought him one on one and won but at great risk. It's awesome to see but man it's nail-biting
Carnage is terrifyingly strong, which shows how dangerous Toxin must be, because toxin is stronger than both Venom and Carnage combined. Edit: it seems that Venom has been given several massive buffs making him stronger than Toxin, so there’s that. I still believe that Toxin has incredible potential and could probably get to Venoms level
I believe that both venom’s and carnage’s strong regeneration abilities is due to the fact that venom was briefly bonded to Deadpool shortly before Spider-Man had the venom symbiote
Also since they’re a species that seeks out hosts it would make sense to have that ability to keep their host alive. But yeah Deadpool definitely was responsible for that ability in the OG comics.
I think it’s the AXIS Carnage, basically a universe where the nazis won WW2 and all the heroes and villains are switched. However Carnage still has psychotic tendencies but he does it for a good cause. He saves people while also traumatizing the person he’s saving because he’s Carnage. He’s essentially just like Venom with the whole moral code thing which is pretty damn cool.
Basically if written into canon Carnage can be the Marvel Universe version of something out of Resident Evil. Like I said before Carnage is almost dangerous as Ultron in Marvel Comics & the MCU.
The last example doesn’t exactly make any kind of sense for carnage’s base power set. Seriously, I don’t remember taking over techno-mutants/mutates like Trinary, or Sage
In my marvel universe series we would see Carnage and Shriek’s relationship develop. At one point Carnage would ask himself about his feelings for Shriek. But all the questioning would get thrown out the window as Shriek would end up captured by A.I.M and Carnage would unhesitatingly work with Spider-Man to save her and when she’s lying on the floor presumed dead Cletus/Carnage starts to beg for her to be alive, and as she wakes up he truly admits his feelings to her as she does the same both agreeing that they’re worth living for each other as they just hug.
Sweet! Comic material about Carnage! I don't know a whole lot about the guy, but I'm a HUGE fan! And seeing him make his movie reveal made me so excited! Especially being subscribed to Variant where I can learn so much more!

I remember my brother had a carnage game in sega when I was super young maybe 7-8 and he gave me nightmares. Almost 30 years later he’s one of my favorite marvel villains. Funny how it comes full circle

To be able to withstand so much is an ability that can be taken so far within the comic world.
