RV Tire Blow Outs Preventative Fix - Full Time RV Life - Metal Detecting Oregon and Beyond!

Are you getting ready to hit the open road in your RV? Have you ever had a tire blow out? If you have, then just maybe this was the cause and found this little preventative fix can save you a big headache.
While traveling last year I noticed I had three siding screws fall out while on the road getting gas. This led me to think about those screws falling out in front of my tires while on the road doing 60 mph and going under a tire causing a blowout and the potential of a really bad accident.
I replaced all of the manufacturer's self tapping screws with rivets where a support arm held the siding in place. If the rivet happens to fall out it's not as sharp as the screws. I know the rivets can probably puncture the tire, but much less so than the sharp self tapping screws.
