Its so crazy that i started watching this channel cause im teaching my nephews how to skate, and the oldest (11) is playing hockey for the first time this season and i only just realized we live in the same city lol what are the odds? He plays for the Orillia Terriers. Thanks for all your content Coach Jeremy! You helped us out alot!!
This is so cool. I’m from South Carolina and barely know how to ice skate any much less play hockey. The closest ice rink is over two hours Away. I’ve been watching this channel for like 10 years though. I love hockey. I wish I had a chance to get to play and learn when I was younger. Your channel is awesome. It turned me into a fan of the sport.

I am planning on learning how to play hockey Bc I've always wanted to but never found time to. my question is how should I hold my stick if I'm right handed in your opinion. Should I hold my right hand lower on the stick or keep it high on the top of the stick?
Usually dominant hand goes on top, it makes it easier for puck control. I have some videos on my How To Hockey channel to explain it
