    Option 3 looks so good
    Option 4 looks to classic & doesn’t fit the soda fell.
    So Option 3 is the best

    I like 3 the best, it just looks super clean and crisp, somehow I feel like Sprite would taste better if it came out of 4, so that design works really well even though it's pretty far away from what Sprite actually does

    Option 3 is my favorite by far! The only thing is that white/silver soda labels tend to be used for Diet drinks, but that doesn’t take away from how great the packaging is 🙌🏾

    I think option 3 is a good redesign considering Sprite's target market, but option 4 was some really forward thinking, absolutely loved it.

    i absolutely love logos 3 & 4. 3 seems more practical if Sprite wants to stay safe, but option 4 looks extremely high end! It would also be super cool if for option four the top and bottom of the can are black instead of aluminum. just a thought :) Great job, both are superb!

  • @EmilyExplosion27
    @EmilyExplosion27 Před 3 lety +3

    Wow. I just like them all!
    1 feels like the Sprite of my childhood. 2 feels the most like an update of the current branding. 3 is just refreshing and more "now" (although white is almost universally associated with diet soda). And then 4 is so upscale and lovely.

  • @beel1952
    @beel1952 Před 3 lety

    option 3 for sure !
    i dont know if it's cause im a sucker for simplicity, but its design is just so easily coherent and the white pops out so well! the lowercase and rounded edges of everything also make it really approachable, it gives a very laid back relaxed feel- which im pretty sure is what most people wanna feel when sipping a fizzy drink
    added note:
    i feel like the only reason i think option 4 doesn't properly fit the prestige category as well as it could've is cause of the can size. most high end fizzy drinks are in thinner, leaner cans. but besides that it's pretty sick !

    I would say 'Option 1' is my favourite because of the thinking behind it but feel an opportunity was missed by not filling in both the lemon and lime pieces. Really liked 'Option 3' also but the branding reminded me of 'Lilt' (because of the stark green, yellow and white contrast)

    Option 3 for me, the perfect balance of remaining faithful to the brand but also moving into a fresh new design. 1 & 2 are a little too similar to the original styling for me and 4 seems way to disconnected to the original brand imo!

    1 looks really good. I love the icon and the text and everything work well around it. I wonder if the can was plain white how it would look simplified
    2 I absolutely loved watching you make, but I'm not sure it works on the can well. It's effective and simple though
    3 is god damn incredible! Reminds me of some typography in a journal or something, absolutely love that. Problem wouldn't be how well it would fit on a soda can, but how recognizable it would be for the current Sprite. If Sprite didn't exist and you were presenting their first logo, I'd chose this, but since they do, I'd chose 1
    4 obviously doesn't fit (and you acknowledge that) so now that it's ruled out, let's look at it for a premium drink can: looks awesome, I would say the background image should be lightened or faded out a bit more, just for contrast against the banner and to help my eyes from going crazy haha. I do love the vectorized lime and lemon tree though : )
    3 > 1 > 2 > 4

    I like option 2 the most, but honestly, none of these have the same personality as the current design. This type of design is appealing to designers but not as eye-catching and appealing to consumers IMO.

    Option 2 because option 1 reminded me of subways logo, option 3 almost looked like the centurylink logo and option 4, why would you clasify a drink like sprite as a specialist drink. And speaking of Subway and Centurylink, redesign both logos.

    Alright. so between all of the options, I believe 1 is the best. the logo feels playful and could really be presented in black and white easily and be a great breath of fresh air for the brand, with that being said, I don't like the can design much aside from the typography on it. Drop shadows just don't cut it for me, it's a cheap way to get contrast, and it doesn't pay off much.
    I see a lot of people voting Option 3 as the best, and I respect that, 3 has a strong concept. When I look at the can however it seems like a "Great Value" product, or store brand. That's saying it adopts the colorful text on white that it synonymous of a lot of cheap, non-name brand items you may find in a store and I feel like that comparison hurts the value of the design.
    Option 2 and 4 I don't have much to say about, option 2 seems too minimal for it's own good, and when it comes to food and beverage products, minimal design like that doesn't really get someone hungry or thirsty, at least, that's how I feel about it personally. 4 came way out of left field, and I don't think Sprite needs that sort of high class design about it, the can design is more reminiscent of alcohol, I could also see someone confusing it with lemon juice, but more so the alcohol thing.
    Overall, I know this was a tough redesign, but that's the way it is when a logo as good and iconic as Spite is called into question. Good job on the project overall!
    TLDR: Option 1 is the best in concept and in design, Option 2 is too minimal for me, Option 3 reminds me of a Store Brand product, thus cheapening it, and Option 4 reminds me of an alcoholic drink more so than soda. My favorite is 1.
