Front battery is not working on the Q20 Pro?
The Front battery powers the front hub only, rear battery powers the rear hub and the electronics to power unit on. So if you just use rear hub until battery is showing empty, you can swap batteries or use just select front hub to double your range.

Time to start checking into scooters.
I just got the Gotrax GX3 and while it aint the fastest at 38MPH top speed (you can snip the throttle limit and get maybe 60MPH out of it if you're nuts) but it lets you toggle between dual and single wheel operation from the controls - and the dual wheel will pull you up the insanest grade imaginable and you'll still be doing 25MPH.
They're pretty cheap too, which surprised me seeing as I'm smoking all the ebikes around that aren't surron class. I even got hydraulic brakes on it for that price! They are amazing compared to the mechanical ones I've been using.
now time to do the fronts
The front forks aren't terrible just no rebound, I don't know what options there are for this since it is an inverted fork setup
@@MotoCheez I also have a Q20 pro looking for a replacement front fork also, think I have found something that works… keep you posted… 😁
@TheTextool awesome
@@MotoCheezHey I’m thinking about getting the Ridstar and I know nothing about e bikes what parts should I upgrade when I get the bike thanks.
@EricRed-ut6yo just the rear shock. I just uploaded video. Other then that it pretty set
That's a win. Isn't it crazy how those calculations get overlooked. Spring rate matters! Lol
100%!
Thanks for this video by seeing this video I prepurchased the shock for my new Q 20 1500 W motor I have Ridden my new q20 for a couple of days now and the shock is very stiff. Very little movement Wanted to see what the ride Felt like before Putting on the new shock will be installing the new shock today Thanks again for this video
We are out today on a ride and the new shock definitely makes a big difference. Let me know what you think
Ok will do
Put the new shock on and it definitely Rides better than the stock shock. Still a little stiff. I'm gonna play with the adjustments tomorrow.
@theduceiswildtv5090 I loosened mine up about 1 turn
Up not down ?
The 15 buck hook up
😆👍
O man it's time new shock send it.
Nice . I went with an air shock . the stock shock does NOT move !!
How did the air shock work out? I did consider an air shock, I went with the adjustable type because I know I can adjust it anytime while riding
@@MotoCheez Works great , it is adjustable also !!
@kdscrapping4452 oh it has an adjustable screw on the side for dampening?
@@MotoCheez air valve only on the one I have . Same as a tire tube !!
I didn't know you could put a bike rack on the back! That makes it so much more useful. i wonder if foot pegs would work for a back passenger.
I know others put rear foot pegs. The rack is universal
Rear Schwin rack amzn.to/4cRPp3A
@@MotoCheez from what I can tell by the design and looking at pictures. there are no holes or attachment points. Are people using the foot pegs that clamp on to the frame?
@@MotoCheez I think the links are mixed up. This is the front basket, and the rear rack is the one listed as the front basket in your links.
@eugene188 I don't really know but I would imagine that would be the only way
😎your cheesy bunzz😉Will thank you for that shock🧀🤙🏼🇺🇲✊🏻✌🏻
Definitely looks better
Rides way better
@@MotoCheez that’s good
how long did shipping take? ordered the same one and hasnt come yet
Took about 5 days
Hey man, the link in your description takes you to the smallest shock which looks tiny compared to yours in the video. Could you kindly check what size you ordered please and let us know? Thanks!
Hi , I was looking to change the rear shock but can’t find the exact specs for a correct fit replacement…do you know the mm distance from eye to eye ?…Thx 😃
I can't remember off the top of my head but if you click the link in the description it picks the proper size
Nice
I have the Ridstar Q20. I read in some chat that the seat was replaced with a softer/lower one. Any suggestions as to what to get? I'm old that original seat feels like a 2x4 with a thin cover.
Mine is pretty soft, I haven't heard of different seats. I know the replacement shock I just installed made it 5 times better ride!
@@MotoCheez Got a new shock on the way. I opted for a 550# version based on your comments about still a bit stiff. That might be enough. Thanks.
@kennethkirkham2471 let me know how it works
hey i had a question what’s the difference between the 750 and 1200lb one and can i get the 1200lb one will it fit ?
Yes, if same length, bit will be stiffer of course
would this fit on a regular q 20
Yes
ay what size are the shocks for the redstart q20

Hello is there anyway you can do a video showing how to bleed the brakes I got 3000 miles on my ride star and my brakes just went out
I saw a video online where they're filling the reservoir with a syringe, and then I guess you'd have to bleed them like a car? And at the break master cylinder cuz the air will go up there
@@MotoCheez would you know what I gotta do to the caliber if there is anything I gotta do?
@boxinghdfullfights502 usually the air ends up going to the highest point of the tube so it's typically where the hose comes out of the master cylinder handbrake. You shouldn't have to do anything to the caliper unless it was completely empty
@@MotoCheez thank you bro
It comes with a 1000lb shock?
Yes!
Does it work with the 1000w Q20?
Yes
What length did you get?
I forget the exact measurement but it is the one I have a link in the description for
@@MotoCheezits a link to multiple sizes bro we need the exact length
It should just link to the 100 mm 750 lb shock
Will this fit the Engwe engine pro?
No, the shock is shorter on that bike. I am ordering a shorter shock for my wife but when I do the video I will show an adjustable replacement for stock length also
@@MotoCheezI can’t decide between the q20, amyet s8, and the q20 pro, but the pro is a bit out of budget and I have a lot of hills around me
@B7litz I don't know the other model your looking into, but does it come with all the options the Q20 does? Ive seen others talking about it on here
@@MotoCheez yea I ordered the 150mm one, that’s what some said the size was…. We’ll see how it goes…
@@MotoCheez the amyet has only one 48v 25ah battery and duel motor only 1300 with shipping
YAYYYYYYYYYYYY
1st!
How big is that shock
I have a links in the description
