Excellent video , shows in detail the fixing. However, one word of caution and it's about the frame bolts facing down (Grab handle mounting) .. I didn't believe it until I saw the dealer photos of a broken frame ( the section at the rear). Putting any significant weight on a rack fitted to the grab rail bolts ..or pannier mounts possibly could wreck your frame,.. I hope not but it's worth mentioning it. I have a rack like yours which I stopped using, instead I use a three point fixing one from TEC which is slightly safer. If you use a top box, keep it very light.

a nice vlog just watch moto uk as a six month old 411 r/e scram and the spokes are rusting took it back to is dealer and said thay will put a claim in but moto GB only have till march this year so may take a little longer which is what i wonder what would happen when royal enfield took over
Interesting a very well secured system for mounting the panniers. I note you have those Lextek silencers what was the main reason for putting those on over the standard is it just better sound lighter and or improved performance the reason I ask is I am thinking about an interceptor at some point this year having looked at one the other day in Appleyard's in Keighley they have a new showroom full of Enfield's and others and I plan to test ride one when they get their demo bike in .They do currently have demo rides for the Conti and the 350's but the inter will be there from March .Worth a visit if ever your out that way 😉👍
Hi yes Appys is just a 10 minute ride from me. The main reason for the Lextecs was the improved sound which is wonderfully “1960s” and a big improvement over the oems. There is also a big weight saving. The Lextecs are also a lot cheaper than say Tec, Enfield Precision and other makes yet still top quality. There may be a slight performance gain but it’s not noticeable 👍🏻
Hi Bill well of course it’s a personal choice but I always carry a yellow plate with me just in case. A full size black and silver plate is to my mind better than some of the smaller yellow plates so many bikes have so minimal risk to my mind
Why bother with the non compliant number plate when you feel obliged to carry a proper plate when out and about ? In my opinion not a great message from an ex police officer and no I'm not a goody goody. Good videos and explanations
Because I like the look of it and I’m no longer a police officer and when I was a police officer I never booked anybody for something so utterly trivial as the wrong colour plate….at our nick we were too busy locking up scum bags 👍🏻

Put your camera onto manual focus and it wont hunt then.
Yes tried that and it stops the hunting but hard to focus with just that screen and no viewfinder
I'd have powder coated them first ! Save doing it next year ......sorry , bad experience with thier engine bars .....twice !
