This is like the scorched earth strategy. Hollywood won't stop until either they go completely broke or they have destroyed all of the past, successful movie franchises.

Show the kid you ordered popcorn on the app and that you would rather just get it now rather than wait for delivery. The teen never cares. They say oh OK. Now head to the theater and grab your seat. If you have a friend, have them meet you at the exit that leads out the back of the theater and hand him the ticket stub. He heads into the theater with the ticket stub. If he's stopped, he just explains he left his phone in the car and had to leave out, and now he's back.
All the while, he's wiggling, and you're receiving the popcorn you ordered on the app. Now you have 2 popcorn, and your friend joins you with the ticket stub in hand.

The good news is that this movie does not have fight scenes where a light weight beats beats up the a bunch of men with bare hands. She relies on a force multiplier like a gun to win fights like normal people. They show the character hiding, disguising themselves to survive, and on charity of others to survive. However plot armor is still thick in the movie.
This is a transition movie. Furiosa is between Rey and Ripley.
If they brought back Mel Gibson's Mad Max as an old man, he would get the same treatment that old Han Solo and old Indiana Jones got. As they say in Texas, "El Paso".

Remember the end of Thunderdome when Max sacrificed himself so the other's could get away, and Tina Turner's character spared him because she genuinely respected him and how he played the game? They both had ambitions for which they gave their all, and he won, so she was a good sport since there was nothing to gain from doing otherwise and she felt a genuine kinship for him... Now THAT was a Mad Max ending.
Now we get a girl growing peaches from a man's crotch as her revenge arc because Hollywood wanted an awkward metaphor to say "men < bears, but maybe future crops could be better".
I didn’t think it was that woke, my only complaint is that in the beginning it should have been the father trying to save the daughter and not the all female group which felt unrealistic.
