Why it happend and not otherwise, who cares today? Netherless, I'm glad that the guys have made this music, "Kyuss 2.0" or whatever! The music gives me more drive to do my owen thing! And that's what I tell to my children: "Try to do your best! You don't know, which wheel in the gear of the world you are! Maybe you work inspired some other to do his best! What more would you like? Finally got around to listening to this and Dozer after having been a fan of Grand Magus, Greenleaf, Hällas, Horisont, Laser Dracul, Spelljammer etc for years... the Swedish stoner rock scene has really been basically shitting gold since the 1990's.
bought this CD many many years ago and it had two bonus tracks on it. the two best songs by lowrider. someone barrowed my CD and never returned it. haven't heard those songs since then. wish I could remember the names of the songs. Soooo bad ass.
Horns and smoke rings up for Andreas Eriksson for not only playing Baddass but the mixing and mastering is AMAZING ,and this is my virgin trip on this album.Its not EZ at all to get this sound -this Solid. I would have pushed the vox out just a pinch but I have that complaint for most of the Kyuss recordings too. LISTEN TO COGNITIVE OVERLOAD
Not bad at all ! The intro just tells it all about the entire album !! ❤❤❤. They sound like Metallica, but waaaaaay less cheesier and "commercial" than the latter !!
I realise I made a huge mistake :) I remember considering buying this on release but money being sort and availability on actually listening to it was even sparser I opted out, a few times I had that choice, a wrongrider ;)
They recorded that gem in 1999, and pretty much disappeared after that. Some of them joined Nebula with previous members of Fu Manchu, if I remember correctly.
Just dropped a new full length not to long ago. Man I would have loved to see these guys live, that's a great moment you guys were able to experience, cheers 🍻.
the mix is great except for the vocals, which I thought can be brought up a bit. I don't think they're that close to Kyuss that everyone needs to make a fuss. I think it's a really good album on its own.
