it was 2018, i was a broke sophomore in high school, and all i’d use my money toward was h&m, forever 21 and pacsun clothes that were either too tight, had one too many roses on them, or had japanese text that i didn’t even understand plastered over the front. dark times.

I literally own 1 piece of Supreme, and it’s from 2016. It’s a Black Sabbath Denim Trucker Jacket, I literally bought it back then bc it looked like a vintage jacket you’d find at a thrift store. It surprisingly gets complimented a lot, and it throws people off when I tell them it’s from Supreme and not an actual vintage jacket 💀

I wasn’t going out to meet friends, going lectures and just out in general like shopping. So it made me think about how important materialistic things are, and nothing hit me more than realising i was buying Supreme just because it was Supreme. I've had a love for clothes since I got to highschool and everyone was wearing what was "cool" at the time. I started to build a wardrobe which was full of pieces that were really nice. My biggest regret was not being able to style my outfits at all until I found my own style in just recent times.

When you talked about the Supreme and the Stone Island face, I felt it right in my heart, since I’ve recently bought a sweatshirt from stone Island and now i only want stone island, which is weird because I really haven’t felt this before and honestly I’m trying not to feel like this, since lots of brands are making awesome stuff as well and I don’t really want to be known as the guy who only wears stone island

A theme in my regrets is that I overlook just one aspect of a piece of clothing, which ends up being a problem when it comes to how I can actually use things.
I'll end up getting a color I don't have many things to do with, a fit that doesn't work well with how I'd wanna use it (Or just one I like less in general), I've learned to really think things through at this point. That said, a lot of these things I struggle to incorporate can still end up being put to great use if I'm just patient enough to pick up those pieces of the puzzle over time. Another regret is not doubling up on certain things I get attached to and kinda rely on, but it's hard to resist not just picking up 2 unique items.

just discovered ur channel man. love the vids. ur content is unique and genuine and your insights are highly intelligent imo. One of my biggest regrets was buying loads of t-shirts with the big ass nike or adidas logo or just t shirts with big logos in general. some brands definitely have some good graphics (im still a big fan of hilfiger) but nowadays i prefer pieces with minimal branding or no branding at all. theres a difference between graphic tees and tees wit just a brand slapped on it and i think its important ppl realise that especially when graphic tees are so popular right now. i also feel graphic tees are a much better way of expressing yourself and ur fashion than a big logo but that just my opinion. anyway keep up the 🔥 vids!

One of my biggest regrets was how many tees I owned in high school that were mostly branded logos plastered all over the tees. Another regret was me paying for an overpriced bape shirt that I rarely wore and eventually got rid of since I grew tired of seeing it and being reminded of my dumb choice.

About a month ago I move out of my house an had to take all the clothes I wanted to keep in two suitcases. Relocated to calif, an realized how bad my fashion had been. It’s crazy how comfort and utility can be forgotten but now those two principals really dictate my sense in clothing these days. I’m currently dressing/creating my closet around the concept of leisure and coziness. Popularity will be hard to dismantle, and it’s mostly about shoes for me that can last me the whole day, walking/running, brands like brooks, hoka one one an adidas. But joggers an shorts are all I really wear with a few good hoodies. But I keep fuckin up an buying cheap hoodie like h&m quality, which was my greatest mistake back on the day-wasting loads of money @ h&m back when the pocket was low. But learning to invest in clothing takes time b/c your budget and the immediate gratification of getting a cheap but “stylish” pieces of clothing alia always seemed more convenient, but I now understand how to limit yourself to purchases that boost self comfort/esteem and drip. quality essentials:
    Brooks Hyperion 2
    Uniqlo oversized airation tee
    Nike yoga joggers
$65-80 hoodies, especially the coo Reddit street wear start up brands that have quality or finding brands on insta that can redefine the look.
But give me some good brands an put me on

Now it's one of my favorites, I sometimes wear a hoodie under it and it has become one of my favorites.

i regret owning so many tracksuits. where i’m from , on top of being a poc, there is a certain stereotype that comes with wearing a tracksuit and a puffer jacket. although i have a solid sense of style (not to blow my own trumpet) i feel like throwing on a generic nike tech fleece most days of the week really limited me showcasing my actual style. to the point where if i wasn’t wearing a tracksuit it was a rare occasion, i used to think it was me not doing too much and looking casually stylish but i learned that you can still put together simple fits that can be simplistic in nature but make you look way better. not to say i still don’t have a few in the collection for the really lazy days but i came a long way from owning 10 versions of the same tracksuit in different colours.

In the end I totally regretted it because it was six months of my saving money. Now I'm turning to vintage clothes. I'm also getting into a new brand I think is cooler then Supreme ( Born x Raised). Another thing I regret buying is my Off-White belt. I don't really like Off-White anymore I'm becoming more of a Heron Preston fan. I'm trying to go for a more skater look when putting together outfits. I always think about the environment when buying clothes.
