I live in Tucson & when I saw this pop up, I wondered if she was talking about Tucson. I didn’t know it was the biggest show in the world. I used to own a coffee shop in downtown Tucson (no more, thanks Covid) & it was always a really busy month for us.

Thank you for doing a video on the gem show! I was hoping you would do that! Love your enthusiasm! 😄On the amethyst (and I believe any non-clear quartz, like rose quartz), light and heat can fade the color over time. So you might want to keep it somewhere darker in your home.

ha ha the water bottle collector, former collector here, down to 8..tip for storing, use an upright magazine / file organizer, mine are clear acrylic, put them in your cupboard and stack the water bottles to the top! No more piles in the bottom drawer, knock downs like bowling pins in the cupboard! Clear acrylic allows you to see where the one you want is...just pull it out and go! Your welcome. Beautiful gems, Love the honkin big crystal but the citrines are amazing. Sounds like a fun time!

Love all the crystals you got Stella they are beautiful. Your pronounced tourmaline correctly & it’s very good for getting rid of negativity. Shungite is another crystal that I love for it’s protection from EMF. Here in the Georgia mountains we have litte gem mines where you can mine for your own crystals it’s alot of fun. 😊

i've been wanting to go to the Tuscon show. Thanks for the overview. Chicago also has a gem and jewelry show in April and it is good fun too and right by O'Hare. I also enjoyed going to the Body, Mind and Spirit show that is March 5th this year in Chicago. That combines minerals, gems with spiritual items and readers are there. Well Stella, that was fabu!

I always look for someone who likes to travel and, shop, shop, shop otherwise I’d be disappointed. I don’t shop much at home, only if I need something. Love seeing new places but also repeat visits. This past week two different customers told me about this huge rock show, I was so happy to see it on your channel. Maybe next year I’ll drive to it (2 days). Love your energy.

Stella... I just discovered your channel after watching you learning to fly with Kelsey . I loved it. I once took a friend on a flight from New haven Ct to Marthas Vineyard. He had never been in a small aircraft. His brother is a Navy Aviator. He was unbelievably nervous on the way out. He was so relaxed on the way home he fell asleep. That was the best comment about my flying that I ever received. Keep it up, you are enjoyable.

Some years ago I had a business trip to Mesa that coincided with the show …. I bead so that’s how I became aware of the show and had to carve out some time to experience the treasures. I did not expect to see so many huge pieces! I managed about a half day which is such a drop in the bucket of the time I wished I could have spent. Great experience and you got some stunning pieces.

Where are the hot pink crystal on stands from?!
Quartzite, AZ is big on these shows during the winter season. It's on the opposite side of the state from Tucson. There is also some really cool geology things happening in the Yuma area. Dr. Clay and F. Croxen (academics) did some research showing all these different geology events. Also, we still have places you can hike and find turquoise out in the desert.

Fluorite is my favourite stone. Here in Ontario, Canada we have a gemboree. It’s a much smaller show but you can also do some rock hounding tours at local mines. I have visited a rose quartz one and have some pretty pieces that I dug myself. I am hoping To visit the fluorite mine this year. If you like the outdoors you should see if there are some rock hound tours around you to see where the stones you love come from.
