- The Crystal Collector and Famous Amos set out to the Tucson Gem & Mineral Main show! This show is known for having the worlds best varieties of gems and minerals in the world! This show happens every year around the first week of February! It last only 3 days! It’s where all the vendors come together under one roof and show what they’ve got!

Just curious…have you ever met a John and/or Debbie Meredith from Burbank CA? They used to have a booth at various rock and gem shows years ago. John has passed away-not sure if his wife still does them. Really awesome couple.

Anyone whos planning on making their initial pilgrimage to Tucson should know the number one golden rule of Tuscan, never buy anything from the main show. These venders have to pay a hefty price to have that spot on the floor and it does affect the base price for the minerals. Also, you won't find anything fairly priced on that floor anyways, they are targeting a different demographic, typically very very wealthy collectors or one time purchasers. A lot of sales on the main floor are between vendors and usually include some trading thus the pricetag is really only for show goers. Stick to the side street and hotel shows in Tucson. You'll get much more bang for your buck.
There is a big price difference between the top quality, best of specimens, that the big dealers sell, and the more average stuff that they sell at the small booths. Depends on what you are looking for. The miners sell the top quality museum type pieces to the big dealers, and the mediocre to low grade specimens to the souvenir type shops, & small time dealers.
I do agree, every now and then you may can find a good deal or you can haggle and they will come down on the price. I just love to go there to look around like it’s a museum!
@@TheCrystalCollector it absolutely is a museum! You can see pieces on display from Museums there! I always tell people the main show is for your camera not your pocketbook.
The only people who make money in the hobby are the diggers and the dealers.

That was some place Bryan, some gorgeous pieces though well out of my price range but I enjoy looking st them. The colours of the different items are so lovely and the fluorescent items are really bright and colourful. Matrix wasn't looking too happy at the end. Such a big day for the little guy, and I am sure that he is dreaming of good food and a chance to sleep! Thanks, Bryan, for the tour. Five of us were going to go this year, but with COVID still looming, if even one of us got sick, it would pretty much spoil the trip for all of us, so with that, we cancelled. I have been to Tucson 15 times anyway, so it will be interesting to see if I ever get back there again!
Yes after six hours of walking around, he was pretty pooped! I did give him some breaks but he was happy 98% of the time, people were petting him on the head and saying how cute he was, 😂
@@TheCrystalCollector I would have to agree everyone about Matrix's cuteness. He is one of the cutest dogs I have ever seen, and he absolutely loves you! I always love to see that when you speak to him, he always goes a little cute crazy over you, and he is always ready to respond. And now that we are talking about him, I am dying to know how you ended up finding this cutie pie, cause it sure looks like a match made in heaven!

Malachite , is helpful to those who have a lot of screen time , as it helps against the EMR , from the devices .
Lapis , if worn , should be at the top of the rib cage , or in a ring on the little fingers - has the ability to lift ones Spiritual level .
Clear Quartz , is able to store information , more than any computer , and it's best kept with you , as after a short while , it's able to pick up data without you handling it and purposely inputting - look for the crystals "window" . The clear ones are more masculine , the clouded , are more feminine in nature . The best Quartz to work with , I've found comes from Arkansas , the European and Brazilian ones are a bit slower to work with .
I hope this is of help , to those in the community who use crystals for healing , wether in raw form , or as a vibrational tincture , similarly with Gold , Silver and Copper metals , as well as Bentonite Clay , which can be consumed , to help the body detox , as it binds toxins to itself , before expulsion from the body .
