    I'm so glad that Ian Edwards checked Kevin Nealon when Nealon said, "...some plantation owners had sex with their slaves." Edwards shot back, "What you call sex, we call rape." Ian Edwards is clearly a very sharp, intelligent individual.

      @QECHEW 😂 I did not know you were here to insult people but I don't have time for that, you are supposed to learn from history not only paraphrasing what allows for your entitlement.. We are not slaves today, best you can do is make better society but considering how volatile you are, you'd prefer the system

    @blahblahblahman Because there is a pattern, if you noticed most of the comic that sell today and last few years, some of them got big just because of ethnic. For example, Russell Peter, Carlos Mencia, Chris Rock, Dave Chappelle... Well Dave Chappelle and Chris Rock actually talked about something else beside Ethnic but ya... you get my point right?

    @TheSoundjataKeita The Egyptians is smart as hell, but thats just it, they figured stuff out, and then it was formally forgotten until Pythagoras. Its no fault of the Egyptians that the knowledge wasn't passed down to the West or Africa from them, but it wasn't.
    Meanwhile, many languages including English, French, Spanish and Italian were all influenced by the Latin language. Modern western culture comes from these classical European societies.Egyptian culture is amazing, but was forgotten.

    @TheSoundjataKeita I guess maybe you have a point there, but I think, at least to me, the whole Roman and Greek thing isn't so much a source of racial pride and I don't see it as a bragging chip, rather we often research it because its where many cultural and academic foundations originate.
    Nothing of that sort really originates out of Egypt, it was an important and powerful civilization, and was also possibly the earliest, but I don't know any cultural influence it has on any modern people.

    • @johndawson3216
      @johndawson3216 Před 6 lety

      Egyptians were black. Also they have found for example that a lot of religious ideas Egyptians had are similar to other black people living in central Africa . Hmmm
      Also Greek historian Herodotus wrote that they were black .
      I'm white and am sad that in Hollywood they do a lot of white wash . Any movie showing Moses or Jesus as white is bogus ... Or how they never give Asian actors big roles...
      We are still racist and give a racist bias in how we read history.we don't need to
      Let blacks have Egypt as whites had Rome .
      I am a human being from the human race . Fuck racism. I have no problem with the human race .
      PS
      But o do have problems with ignorant or racist people who are sad miserable insecure people

    Its interesting how much argument there is to what the race is of the ancient Egyptian people, I don't know why, because it doesn't really matter. Even if you could prove you are the same ethnicity of the Egyptians, its not like that means you were around or involved in any of their accomplishments. Its funny how individuals like to try and stake claim to things because other people of their race did it, people should get off their asses and do something themselves that they can brag about.

    -then you would get food and water at least. And if you haven't eaten and drunk in a while, you know yourself that you would do anything for little water and food. Blacks often chose death, yes, but do you know why the Hebrews didn't choose death? Because they had what is one of the key things to survival ; Faith. They just went on and thought that one time, one sunny day, god would save them. But if it was in 100 year, 500 years or 2000 years, they did not know. -

  • @GrinningAries
    @GrinningAries Před 12 lety

    @TheSoundjataKeita Egypt should be respected, but if we can just get back to what I am saying, its not a racial thing. Westerners happen to look to those civilizations because its part of our cultural history, but I don't think white people care because they are white. I even have some white friends who believe the Romans were not "white" because they were the ancestors of southern Italians, but it doesn't bother him.
