Unfortunately, when people have 2 terrible choices, there are three things that can happen. Either they'll vote on party ideologies and disregard the candidates, they'll vote for a third party, or they won't vote.
I'll vote for Biden if he's the candidate, but I acknowledge he's senile and desperately want him to step down because there's a massive portion of the population who would vote for Trump even if he walked on stage and sacrificed a 2 year old child to the death god Moloch and Biden doesn't look capable of beating him. Neither of those two choices are good for the country, but one of them is a sociopath hellbent on destroying American democracy.
