Here is the last fukubukuro lucky bag that I bought! So from last video I mentioned I paid $600 for shipping for all my fukubukuros haha. This bag was also $100 so we are going to see if this is worth it! This is the Snidel Lucky Bag 2021!

Snidel is a luxury brand, most of their items retail for at least 100$ per item. I think the coat itself would cost 300$ so that’s why there’s only 5 items

Thank you for providing awesome fukubukuro content even during the pandemic. I would never actually buy a lucky bag for myself because I don't wanna risk getting crappy stuff but I DO LOVE watching try-on videos of my favourite brands. SNIDEL is in fact one of my favourite brands (I adore their feminine/sophisticated/cute style) and I regularly shop there so I can assure you that you got a lot of bang for your buck in this bag (and everything except the coat looked gorgeous on you). Their stuff is quite pricey and you typically pay around $ 100-150 for a dress or a set-up.
DHL has honestly been a curse and a blessing in the past year. They are literally the only ones who provide fast shipping from Japan these days so in many cases I have literally no choice but to use them. But their prices are out of this world, so unreasonable. I take comfort from the fact that their service is super fast and efficient (at least from my experience). I love that they handle all the import tax/custom stuff for you and you can pay those fees online to speed up the shipping process. When using other shipping services, my packages ALWAYS get stuck at customs in my country and that can take forever.

omg, this is my the best lucky bag I have ever seen, I loved everything. So pretty, so classy! I have lived in Japan since I was a teenager, yet I’ve only ever dared buy a lucky bag once.
im still so glad you get to do these Kim! I saw one or two i wanted to order and I couldnt bring myself to pay for the shipping. I wonder if the west will ever try something like this to get rid of inventory, it is such a good idea and makes it fun!

A lot of people have already said, but snidel is a top, expensive brand so you probably got a really good deal on those clothes. Although your shipping probably evened it out 😂

Always look forward to your Fukubukuro videos! Hawaii does Fukubukuro but this year the bags I wanted were gone. Also, some of the companies that do it are not what I would buy! How about videos of some of your favorite Japanese restaurants or shops that sell Japanese items in Australia, since you can't go to Japan at the moment?

OMG Kim I sent a Christmas card to my friend in QLD from the UK. I sent it on 2nd December and it arrived 22 January! :( On the other hand, I ordered a package from Japan on 6 January and half arrived on 13 Jan and the other on 14 January what what.

They don’t do EMS but airmail is still available^^ Airmail usually takes 2-3 weeks or up to a month because of the pandemic.

INGNI is one of my favourites, usually great clothes and great value for money. If you like more “sexier” clothes then Reinda is great. Wego is also fun but I’ve received some terrible stuff in there in the past haha

You actually got 6 pieces if you include the big cotton bag in which the clothes came in 😊 If you ever get the chance you should also check out the brand Sense of Place by Urban Research! They got really cool/cut pieces with a little twist! 😎

also if you're willing to use a slower shipping method (like 3 months for surface mail over the ocean), shipping is still doable, but idk what is offered right now between aus and jp :(

How is the sizing working? Can you choose the size of the clothes that come in the bag ?
Some brands you can but most of them are all one size
I loved everything in that bag. Definitely worth $100 but not with the crazy shipping cost you paid lol. I wish it would be easier to order these kind of fukubukuros. The only ones available to me are all food related which doesn’t interest me. Completely off topic, are looking forward to the new Pokémon snap game? I had to ask since I know you love Pokémon.

I think I prefer this one over the Ingni one? Everything in this one looked a bit more expensive. I actually got 2 lucky bags this year, one from Listen flavor and one from Wego! Got them shipped to NZ but luckily EMS still ships here to make it a bit cheaper. Haven't gotten the wego one just yet but I hope it's good.
Hmm I like both of the bags, ingni was more fun since there was more stuff but I really liked the quality of this one

Curious, is there any lucky bags which does not have winter clothes as I live in a tropical country. And you mentioned they come in one size. What is general sizing? Cause I’m a chubby side and thus nervous to buy clothes online.
Yeah some bags don’t have winter clothes like wego but that one is a hit or miss. Yeah most of these bags all come in one size, usually fits between a s-small medium. Some stores do carry different sizes but it’s uncommon
@@kimdao If medium and if not stretchable, what are the general measurements in terms weight and height? Just to gauge what sort of body build or if I were to buy lucky bags from Japan the weight I should keep in mind.
Hmm to be honest I wouldn’t really know in terms of height/weight but I would say the clothes would fit a size 8-10 Australian size

Yeah Liz Lisa stopped many years ago. The last time I saw their lucky bag I was living in Japan and no one was buying them. Way too expensive and the quality of the clothing in the bags weren’t great. They were the only store in shibuya109 to have so many leftovers so the year after they stopped

It was either 2016 or 2017 but I can’t remember the exact year. LL is unfortunately kind of dying, they closed a lot of their stores (and tbh I worked with them many years ago and I’m not surprised it’s turned out this way)
Liz Lisa doesn't do lucky bags anymore??
No they stopped a couple of years ago. The last year they did them I remember I was in Japan and no one was buying them. Problem was they were charging more than other stores without offering much in the bags. After New Years almost every store in Shibuya109 sold out of their bags but Liz Lisa had so much leftover they had to discount them, but even then people weren’t buying... because for some reason they decided to take the stuff out and sell empty bags 😐 after that year (I think it was 2017 but can’t exactly remember) I never saw Liz lisa sell lucky bags ever again
