- We found these two kittens outside looking for help. One kitten was living in some empty shipping containers, crying for help, with his head tilted to the side. And we found another with an old leg injury that made walking difficult. Help make more stories like this possible by becoming a monthly supporter: www.flatbushcats.org/donate
You helped give them the medical care they need. And you made their happy life together possible. Thank you.

I love how Sir Tilt didn't even care he was trapped, he was just happy to have food 🥹
He's the first kitty that I've notice in these videos not be startled by the capture crate.
I wonder if his ear infection made him hard of hearing too.
I noticed that, too. Cute!
ME TOO. HE DIDN'T EVEN NOTICE HE WAS TRAPPED. SO FUNNY.SO GLAD HE IS SAFE NOW AND HAS A FRIEND. THANK YOU GOD ANF FLATBUSH CATS!!
Sir Tilt was the just the cutest!
Unbelievable that he was able to survive having half his leg torn off. The pain and blood loss must have been horrible. So very happy he and is brother can lead happy, healthy lives with lots of love!
It may have been gradual, maybe something stringy got caught around his leg when he was much younger and just cut off circulation. Sadly, I've seen similar injuries w/ other stray cats living in neighboring Crown Heights. Also, major FYI, a similar injury can happen to human infants where thread from a sock or a long strand of hair can get wrapped around toes to the point of amputation.
@@twistedlittlepuppy I also have seen early injuries where the limb shriveled back to the injury- gradually dried up.
My Milo had cancer in her right front paw. After so many biopsies which she was thoroughly sick of the decision was to remove the entire leg. It was tough seeing her in the vet after the procedure and even more so when she saw me and wanted out of that "evil place". She lived another 7 years before passing. But in those seven years she learned to do everything with just 3 legs, including running up stairs to the bedroom when it was bedtime. I wish all these little ones the very best and fullest of lives. Thanks for caring for them.
Thanks to all at Flatbush Cats for helping these two and finding them a good home to go to
wow the three legged one is the handomest brown tabby i’ve ever seen
You guys are awfome
"awfome" 💀

Ewsome

Forever proud to support this organization, I'll never be able to say it enough. Thank you for all you do 💙
Thank you Flatbush crew!
God, how did that kitty not bleed out at the original time of injury? I trapped a kitty with a horribly swollen paw and half a tail. He's now my personal CPAP mask, wrapping his arms around my head and purring your eardrums off.
He may have entangled it in a piece of string or wire, and just have it rot off, or even chewed it off himself after it died.
I love you, Flatbush Cats!! Really know how to make a happy cat *HAPPIER!!*
And cat lovers too 😻😻
Thank you for all you do to help!
They are young and both have been through a lot. But they are still so sweet and trusting 🥺❤️❤️😭
There's a weird love/hate relationship with cats. We love cat pictures. But there's some people who despise kitties.
awww that poor little guy with a missing leg. What a tough sweet little man
You guys are pawsome
Thank goodness they found you
I love animals so much more than most people!

These are the kinds of stories which warm my heart.
I know not all stories have happy endings, but it's so nice to see those that do! Thank you for all you do to make it possible.
They had no idea they were brothers until they met!
Seeing sick and disabled cats being rescued and living a normal life with people who love them unconditionally warms my heart. We once nursed an old abandoned cat we found back to health. He couldn't walk more than a few steps without needing to rest, and was found resting alongside the road by out home. We believe he may have had a broken jaw or a tumor, and definitely had some type of upper respiratory infection judging by his crusted eyes. He was so sweet, and litter trained. But he seemed so old and fragile we couldn't bring ourselves to get him checked out at the vet. We kept him warm in the winter and every night he slept on our porch, was even fed broth towards the end of his life, and treated like our indoor cats. He had a litter box, and a small house with a self heating pad to sleep in. My mother even administered eyedrops to clear his eyes, and would wipe away the crust on his eyes. It's rare for her to do things like that. It came to show how special he was. A year later, he stopped eating, and was incapable of even drinking. All he could do was hover over it longingly and maybe stick his tongue out a couple times. It was awful to watch. We took him to the vet, and the vets commended us for simply giving him the chance to live another year, and then leave this life painlessly. It hurt my heart when they said the last part. I think about that often. We saved him twice. Nobody else thought he was worth saving, and yet we did. He was the best cat, even for that one year. I like to think he was forever grateful. He was ready to go and we let him go.
IM not crying, you're crying! ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for rescuing these beautiful babies. I can't imagine what their life has been like, one with an ear infection and the other one with a devestating leg injury. Thanks to you they are living the life that they have always deserved ❤️❤️❤️🐾❤️🐾
thank you for giving me some extra hope today :)
Thank you so much kind people, I'm relieved to know they are safe and adopted, 💕 😊
oh mirepoix looks *just* like a cat from my last TNR colony. exact same coloration and foot amputation. i wish i could have adopted her and given her a comfortable, accessible home, but i just didn't have the resources.
turns out spaying her and the other cats did help her in a pretty significant way i didn't expect: a spayed colony meant much less fighting, so she wasn't having to look over her shoulder or defend herself from more ablebodied cats nearly as much.
So happy they’re happy!
Grazie.
👍👍👍👍
Not going to lie, the happy ending has me misty-eyed.
Thank you for looking after all the cats 😻😻😻😻😻😻
This is so Beautiful.
Please Remember The Sick & Homeless People Need The Same Thing. And GOD Would Be Pleased! ❤️🙏🏽🙏🏼✌🏼
Thank you 🙏 all of you are an example that we should imitate. There are no words to thank. 👏👏👏

I love you guys so much and wish I lived closer so I could foster too.
I love you Mr. Zweigart you are what we all should strive to be like🙏🥰 Kitty Savior that you are🥹
Just make sure they stay together, and always remain best buddies 🖤🤍
I love your work and your philosophie. Be blessed for your good souls❤❤❤If i can help again soon, you are the first on my list of sanctuaries and rescues. ❤
....I live in East Flatbush, Brooklyn, and the amount of stray Cats is ASTOUNDING! ...They even nestled into my Mother's ROOF, during the winter! ...she's not a fan of the Cats, because they 'sun' themselves on her glass patio table, in her backyard! ..ha-HAA!! ..But, it's wonderful these Two found a Forever Home, with their disabilities...
i love how tinsel just didn't care that he was caught in a trap and just went with it like "yum food"
Heartbreaking. YOU are good humans. Best Regards and Best Wishes!
Little angels.
These Kittens hit the life Jackpot! Special Cats go to Special People.❤️
They are adorable ! Thanks for rescuing them! 🥰
God bless you guys
Thank you for the wonderful work that you do
Oh, look at those pretty cats! I'm glad their lives got better.
Love this!! I am so happy for them and them becoming brothers in the same forever home is AWESOME!!! #CATSROCK #BROOKLYNCATS #LOVEANDLIGHT
I rescued a male cat that had been TNR-ed and was missing his LH rear foot from just above the ankle. That stump had never healed properly and kept opening up from the leg bone coming through the little bit of skin that would form. After months of trying to get it right my Vet suggested removing the whole leg like your Vet and is also an inside cat. I always know when he is coming because of the special cadunk, cadunk when he walks. Love this old guy.
You do amazing work.... you are on my list for giving Tuesday.... God bless you for looking out for his beautiful creatures.
I really wish the neighbors who saw Mariqua when he was first injured called a rescue for help instead of him suffering until he healed, I sometimes wonder wtf is wrong with people?? God bless your rescue for saving these 2 precious kitties, so happy they are both in the same loving forever home.
From a foster dad to 3 rescues, thank you.
I absolutely love cats. There's something so magical about them.
Thanks!
👍👍👍👍

You guys nearly bring me to tears every story whether it be a happy or unfortunate ending
SO GLAD THEY FOUND HOMES! Hopefully when your spay/neuter clinic is built, people will bring in their pets to be spay/neutered/vacinnated.
So happy these 2 kitties will be safe & loved. Sweet babies. I have always had rescue kitties. Have 2 right now, Simba & Timmy. Thank you for caring for these 2 sweeties.
No you are the one who has the compassion to be in rescue to start with. Those are the 2 brightest kitties I've ever seen. And mentally that don't have baggage
The 2 are so beautiful.
Great video! Really heart warming stuff!
Fantastic this duo were adopted together, you all do amazing work to help these souls
Absolutely beautiful babies!
Ty for helping them
Oh my, the little three legged guy is amazing.
I saw Mirepoix's nub and immediately went BITTY NATION RISE UP!
Thank you for being there, you make an old ladies heart smile
Always fully respectful and thankful to people like you guys to save and love helpless beautiful creatures😺♥️🙏
0:30 when the cat doesn't even care one bit that the trap closes, that seems significant.
Right?! Often a sign of a cat already being quite socialized (and therefore likely abandoned) if they have so little care for it, it fascinates me because you usually only see the terrified ferals step into the traps
What a wonderful ending, or should I say beginning, of their story.
Another happy story ☺️ 😊 😌
Four Hundred and Thirty Six Thousand subscribers. Would all of you please send in $5 and they'll get their reduced cost clinic in Flatbush! It's easy peasy. Think of crowdfunding all you cat people. Note to Flatbush: $10 recurring monthly sent your way. Cheers

My gosh, how beautiful eyes have the white kitty ....

That head tilt and floof on the white one are irresistible! Thank you guys for rescuing these sweet babes
謝謝!
They both recovered perfectly and they are just happy together. ❤
flatbush cat vidoes always makes me tear up, i love you guys and everything you do, god bless you all
Our colony had a kitten missing a back foot . I caught him passed him to one of the ladies that helped with TNR . Vet said he was born like that and a hopper to get around. He got his forever home over 3 years ago with a little boy kitty that was dumped . They are happy with a human family that loves them .
