We all know the typical villian and minion trope where the minion gives advice to the villian, they just shrug it off or even call the minion an idiot despite how good the advice was. But Megamind is not like that at all, when Minion told Megamind the correct pronunciation of "hello", not only did Megamind proceed to follow it, but ask if he did it right to which Minion gave two thumbs up. This shows that scene as well as alot of other scenes show that they are not just two aliens working together, they are best friends

The Yin symbolizes the heroism in the world, whereas the Yang symbolizes all the evil in the world.
Is this supposed to foreshadow the fact that Megamind would ultimately turn to the side of heroism (Yin) in order to defeat the Yang he created in the form of Tighten?
