- We had time for a fun project today. I picked up a couple of old sewing machines at junk jaunt for this purpose. I loved building models as a kid, so I've been looking forward to this build.

I am glad Ramona got to spend time with your Mom, those memories will last a lifetime for her. I can really see how much she has grown in one year, such a cutie pie. I have a 1950's Maytag washer which is larger with the white enamel and wringer. I have it in the corner of my country kitchen and for large family gatherings I put ice in it and all kinds of drinks because we are a large family. We can even move it to the deck for outside parties, grandchildren and greats think it is neat. I have double tubs on a stand for my flowers. You have a difficult decision to make for yours. Enjoyed watching this one.
Thank you beth!
Bring the machine back by all means excellent at shows 😊
😎
🔥
Take the washing machine back to working order!!! I want one so badly!!! Love the sewing machine tractor - so glad you used a sewing machine that wasn't able to be repaired.
Yup, it was toast.
Nice looking tractor project that should look like the "old" tractor that you made. The washing machine would be nice restored so to show what "Wash Day Monday" was like. It is so nice Ramona got to spend precious time with her Great Grandma!
Going home today.
Pink 😊
Ramona would love that.
Just to cool luv it leave patina excellent guys cheers 🥂 😊
Thanks 👍

That is so adorable
Fun project
Very cool tractor!
Thank you Mary! It was fun.
Please make a working wash machine. I always wanted to do one of these and use it to squeeze and wring out shamee's and wash shop rags and wring them out. You can plant flowers in any thing but these are not around anymore. The tractor would look great in JD green, those wheels painted yellow would look exactly like the ones JD used back in the 20s with steel treads. My 2 cents worth.(the seat would look kool with some holes in it)
Thats a great argument! I could wash my shop rags.
@@markellyfarm I thought that might help you win a tie or argument.Haha but, happy Kelly happy fella. I had a friend who had a tub n wringer without the motor and he used it to wash all dirty stuff you would never put in your house washer, and then wring em out and hang on the line. I thought boy if I can ever find one thats what I will do.
@@markellyfarmyes lol 😊
I vote for a planter for Kelly
You just tied it up. Lol
No planter find another for that lol 😊
tractor seat making: i had a hammer just like that. i dropped it one time and it hit me full-square in the groin. it was a ball-pain hammer
Lol
Restore the washer 😊
Vote #1. Lol
Love the sewing machine tractor - we're curious how heavy it is?! Before suggesting a color for the tractor I'd first ask where you think it's going to live? If in the house I'd defer to Kelly's opinion on the color. 🙂
Oh it will never make it into the house! Lol
Probably 15 lbs
@@markellyfarm Then I lean toward Ramona's choice - Farmall Red and somehow showcase it in the parade.
Cute sewing machine tractor! I kind of like it just the way it is, rustic.
Hmmm, that's a tough choice on the washing machine. If the tub is still in tact and no leaks I would lean towards a restoration, as long as it doesn't cost a small fortune and you can still get parts. Would you sell it after a restoration or would you use it as an actual washing machine?
It would probably be used to wash my shop rags and maybe kept for off grid backup.
@@markellyfarm oh yes, excellent thinking! It's hard telling where this country is headed.
For sure
