Bought this on your enthusiasm, not disappointed. I like using the grip with it and it plays great. The sound remastering stands out if you have a decent sound bar/subwoofer set. As good as any movie, lots of rumbling and so immersive. I’m glad it doesn’t feel like they overdid anything and it’s just a great experience. Prayers for your friend. 🙏
I just got this game 2 days ago and cant put it down. I'm on mandatory quarantine for 2 weeks and this game is so fun on switch, once I'm out I'm still probably going to be playing this, for sure buy if your into racing

It's a really good soundtrack, but it features a lot of indie rock and dance music of the era so it's definitely of its time. The Klaxons songs, and that record, was seriously slept on, and M.I.A., Pendulum, Hadouken!, Plan B, Funeral Party and White Lies would've been popular in the UK at the time too, even without the big American artists like Bad Religion, Deadmau5, 30 Seconds to Mars and Lupe Fiasco and Weezer.
An interesting anecdote, the developer who ported Need for Speed Hot Pursuit and Burnout Paradise over to the Switch, Stellar Entertainment, is comprised many developers of used to work for Criterion and were part of the team that that originally worked on both those games, with a few who worked with Burnout 3 and Revenge. Part of the reason we saw both Remastered is that they both run on the same engine, as well as 2012 Most Wanted.
Gamestop had this for $20 on sale new so I snagged it. Been debating on opening it and playing or returning it. I watched your video and it sounds like a keeper, especially at $20. I'll open this one and play it. Thanks RGT

@@WatchDoggyDog to be honest.. I don’t give money to Nintendo for Online so I can’t say. I’ve heard several reviewers saying good things about it. The fact they pulled off across-platform play is a huge bonus since Switch owners only seem to give a sh*t about Mario Kart and nothing else. It really raises the potential for a larger online community to play with.

I love this game since 2010 which for me was the last true NFS in the series. I don't know why people complain about is to pricey some people didn't even played this game before so is a fresh experience and it's the best racing game on this day on Switch so I can't complain .

It's nice to get a high profile raçer like NFS on Switch but Indies has been bringing some great racers to Switch like Fast RMX, Hotshot Racing, Inertial Drift, Redout, and Horizon Chase Turbo.
Hotshot was a surprise for me, it´s basically a high five to Ridge racer series
I didn’t even know this game existed tbh! I’ll definitely be getting this one. Glad to have a racing game on the switch now. Hopefully more to come

I was so excited for this game! It plays amazingly and hasn’t disappointed me at all. I’ve been playing as the cops so far. Definitely a good looking arcade sim racing game!! Also at Walmart it’s 33.50 so the price was right to

MK8 Is a staple. It's great to eat mushrooms and throw turtle shells first, and an hour later, to run from cops in real life exotic cars at full throttle.

I also love this game, it’s fun and graphically it’s one of the best on the system. What drives me crazy is trying to understand how this title and all WRC games can look so different on the same hardware. All run on Switch but this one looks PS4 and the others PS2. There is like 2 generations of difference in graphics

I remember there was either Need for Speed or Burnout game on the Wii U, loved playing it. I should get this one. Love how you can pick a Crown Vic, Crusin' USA had it as a secret car, along with a school bus and I think an ambulance.

That Chiddy Bang song was the song I’d blast all the time when playing the game on my PS3. I just got the remaster on my Switch but I haven’t played it much.
Great video, for some reason I missed this last gen but it looks a lot of fun and I loved the Burnout games so I'll be sure to pick this up.

I got it when it released. Also I do believe some people in your comment section will want you to take back what you said about the soundtrack. I personally like the Soundtrack its better than most soundtracks I've heard in other racing games. As for my verdict on the game I as well suggest anyone that's into racing games even just a little bit needs to play this game.

I played this when it first came out and enjoyed it. I remember the cross traffic was infuriating, but exciting nonetheless. I'll definitely get this, just probably going to wait for a sale.

If you're looking for a good racing game on the switch... buy Burnout paradise. Runs at 60fps is fully open world and has all the DLC's included.
I'm impressed. Its on my to-do list now. Haven't played nfs since the ps2/gamecube era.

Its been over 5 years since I've played a NFS game and I gotta say, this game is DEFINITELY gonna get me back in.
EDIT: I bought this game last week and I'm addicted to it, so much fun. Definitely give it a try, its so good.

Pure arcade fun - no messing around in the garage. Shout out to Tamara - I went through chemo 12 years ago. Chemo is the worst part of it but once you start bouncing back it gets better quickly. Hold in there girl!

Wonderful it's coming up. This one, GRID autosport, and Burnout are the few decents racing games on Switch
I haven't play this NFS but absolutely loved Undercover and this seems to be from that era when NFS games were at it's peak. So definitely will buy this one.
It's kinda like burnout handling. Game is great even though the elitists in the community hate it.
@@Tytrovy I haven't played many NFS games, most recently I plaed one of the newer titles, I felt it was awful, leaning more towards realism than the fun arcade feel but absolutely borning, even tough the graphics were... nice.
Now after my original comment I've been playing Hot Persuit in my Switch but it makes me miss Undercover all the more, I loved the city, and I don't remember exactly why I like it so much I just know it was great, I hope it gets a remaster too.
I have this game on my Wii and PS3 and the difference is way too much between Wii and PS3. They look significantly different that they look like two separate games. Wii version has bad graphics like bad online flash games while PS3 has realistic graphics. It’s really nice to see this game in good graphics on Nintendo Switch, I will really love to play it on Nintendo Switch. It’s not like Wii version is bad, I mainly played on the Wii because playing on the Wii was way more fun with friends than the PS3. (In addition my PS3 game was a demo because I didn’t want to buy the full version on the PS3.).
