Pavlova is a meringue that's light on the inside and crispy on the outside. It's like a crispy marshmallow. You eat it with whipped cream and lots of fresh fruit on top. I prefer Pavlova to ice cream any day. If made properly it's amazing. It's so light you feel like you could eat the whole thing.

The line between white kiwis and Maoris are faded in my opinion. It isn’t like white Americans and African Americans. When the Europeans came here they bred heavily with the Maori as the white men loved the look of the Maori women. So you’ll find there are more Maori/Europeans then just pure Europeans, like me for instant.

Experiencing the Maori culture (New Zealand Culture), the ice cream varieties, and ALL THE TERRAIN was an amazing experience. We only got to do the north island but we're planning on returning in the future to do the south island as well. Being from NJ it was funny to see the parallels of having your more popular sibling (NY[C] for us and Australia for NZ) be a lot of people go for work, but quietly keep a lot of the lure and wonder of your homeland as an open secret. It really is the most wonderous place! Kia Ora!

Interesting video of your perspective in New Zealand.
Just some information to correct your terminology in regards to talking about the people of Aotearoa,
    'White people' = Pākehā/ European descent/New Zealander.
'Maori' (correct terminology but an umbrella term used to describe 'Maori' people) = Ngā Tahu, Ngā Puhi etc/ New Zealander.
    'Islander people' = Samoan/Tongan descent/ New Zealander
Note: It wasn't the Government that started Kohanga reo, they only started to fund 'Māori' people to do different courses after all the protesting and contesting as the government didn't want anything to do with the 'Māori' people nor the way of life. hehe lol
