Magic run dude! You have that setup dialled in! You must give those dawdling esk8ers a helluva fright when you zap past them ;) lol... epic videos. Keep em coming
Insanely fast. I’m getting there but definitely held back by the abilities of my current boards, but hopefully my new DIY AWD board will get close to those speeds. I’ve been messing around with set-ups and found that having a very agile front end and reversing my rear trucks around for stability is the ticket for ideal handling.

Which leatt jacket are you using? How do you like it? Just bought an alpinestars bionic jacket as my armored hoodie doesn't have the level of protection I want. Took a pretty hard fall wearing it and it was defitely not enough lol.
This is the Leatt Body Protector 5.5 Although it's basically disposable after a high speed pavement encounter, it's definitely worth it. Slides great, can confirm.
I'm running 138kv right now. I'd rather be running ~170k, but I don't have enough gear reduction. Yeah, I'll be going 22S amd 4wd soon. Thanks, man! Thanks for watching
You need $5000, some mechanical and electrical aptitude, an internet connection, and a bunch of studying around building batteries, vesc operation, soldering, spot welding, etc.
Yeah I've tried them. They're a great system that's always being improved upon. For short track, they're perfect. For my style of riding (long distance high speed), I don't prefer them.
I’ve a short video (a better one to come) on my channel where I show how to achieve next level handling. Basically I’m reversing my rear trucks. Still stiff bushings so only around twenty degrees total movement, but it’s on a Waterborne rail adapter system which allows a lot of lean angle. The fronts I use the Waterborne surf adapter and/or Major Arc trucks which allow a huge amount of agility. The waterborne adapter is very stable being a trailing link especially with heavy bushings, but it has huge maneuverability. Major Arc trucks on front are my favorite since they have built in Ackerman and are very nimble for such a low ride height.
Insane video man! How are you liking the Bioboards motors? I heard you in the beginning of the video saying that the motors couldn’t handle that level of performance for long. Are you considering a replacement?
@@wiggpickle Very interesting. I was considering the same alternative as well. APS has some good 80100 motors. Is there any other (brand) you were considering?
@@SRNAR8 I actually love them now. I had 1 fail on me, but since them they've been bad ass. I've overheated them countless times, smashed the hell out of one in a wreck, and abused them in general for more than 1500 miles. Very tough motors. Would recommend 👌
I'm like, who are all these guys just standing in the road on their boards. Oh, it's normal esk8ers at normal esk8 speeds. Epic ride.
Damn, the faith and attention to detail you must put into these machines! Always impressive Heath. Stay frosty brother! 💫

Insane run bro
Man got make a crazy board like this. Sure it would eat the mountains here in CO. Would not be going 50 though that's insane.
Make it happen and come ride!
That's amazing! What jacket are you wearing for this ride? I'm looking to get something like that.
This is a Leatt 5.5 Chest Protector
88 mph is the goal. DO IT!
And start up that flux capacitor, we're going back to the future 🤣
How do you tune it up like that? I'm about to buy one

@@wiggpickle do you prefer to roll or slide when you crash?
Slide. One hit to the ground and slide it out if possible
Do you balance your wheels at all or just send it?
I can tell a difference after balancing mine
These are somewhat balanced. To the nearest 1/4 oz., I believe.
You’re nuts haha. Probably so fun though.
in 20s what motor Kv you are using? and are you planning for 22s? You're getting faster dude :D

How do I even begin trying to build a board with this performance?

@@wiggpickle or a LAcroix nazare supersport for 3K :)

So sick! What’s that hydraulic mod you made to the Hypertrucks? Have you found it to make a big difference with stability?
Thanks. That's a motorcycle steering damper. That, along with other changes, make a great difference in stability.
@@wiggpickle oh, sweet. Have you tried Stooge trucks? Any thoughts on using those in your setup?
