1:26 Clippers/Bucks recap + Damian Lillard's weird season
6:42 DLo went OFF and the Lakers are showing signs of life!
9:57 Chicago Bulls talk for the first time in... who knows how long lol - Zábava
The irony that he finally became an All Star starter the season he didnt deserve it
Shows you that public relations is big part of these awards. More popular teams always get the nod
@johnnyraylopez9182 which just shows you how much of a joke the all star game really is
@@sydguitar99 yep
Dame, right?
@@sydguitar99lol but if they stopped doing it a lot of y'all would have one less thing to whine about
The fact that Dame genuinely managed to clamp Kawhi at some points and was hunting him down on the offensive is extremely impressive, those 40 points were way more impressive than they seem at first sight
Moving out of his comfort zone, not having his family around him and A F*CKING DIVORCE .
Right? Like, do people not realize that bro lost everything?
He will adjust just like Rudy did to the twolves
Yep. Turns out he's a human and not a basketball robot. Hope he finds a true home again soon
Exactly bro this guy lost everything like obviously he's not gonna look like himself if he doesn't feel like himself.
I divorced my wife with 3 kids and I still go to work just fine. I don't make that as an excuse cause
Rusty trying to once again gloss over the fact that he's over 40 years old. Not fooling us you old man.
Now that you mention it, I just noticed that he appears to be dressed like a 67 year old Jewish Italian Boca Raton retiree in this video. Maybe a character out of Martin Scorsese's Raging Bull? Nah, but genuinely, that shirt looks like it belongs in the 1960s.
i think a big part of it was after the 2019 season when they got swept in the conference finals, those last couple of seasons it was kind of no pressure for dame on the court, everyone by now knew he was a superstar at the time and everyone knew he had very minimal help compared to other stars. especially after the cj trade, he could just go on the court and shoot every shot on the offensive side because who was gonna say any different. now on the bucks there’s a lot of pressure, this is the first time he can truly win something, and with the scenery change after living with your family in portland for a decade he might just be adjusting.
Dame Time’s struggling to adjust from PST to Central Time Zone coverage.
good one lmao
I think it’s him having to adjust being a number 2 option instead of being the main guy, is what made him struggle especially the off the court stuff as well.
Even in a good performance CZcamsr talk about the bucks like it’s a funeral
Like and he drops this video right after Dame drops a 40 piece without Giannis. I mean come on. We are 2nd in the East, on 6 game win streak, and Khris hasn't played in a month. Just NBA shit Content Creators sucking on Celtics nuts again.
@jakematter1819 yall are literally coached by Doc Rivers what do you think you're accomplishing 💀
I think the title is mostly click bait for views. He was actually pretty positive on the outlook for the Bucks.
@@jakematter1819 it's the regular season. Doc's curse only show up in the playoffs
PATHETIC!
I definitely feel like the Bucks depth is pretty underrated. While team as a whole as been rather inconsistent this year, Bobby Portis and Malik Beasley have both been awesome for them. Plus guys like Connaughton, Crowder, and Pat Bev can give good contributions still
If they can get good momentum going before the playoffs start they have all the pieces
Pat Bev be lucky to not be on a different team next season. He hasn’t been the same since he got that Play In Championship ring
@@imnotblindbutiloveblindfol8449 I mean Pat Bev is constantly being traded but that’s because every team wants him. He’s an effort over talent guy so if a team can bring him in they will but he’s expendable if they can trade him for someone better
Im loving the new defensive look under doc I know it won't last come playoff time but hey at least you can enjoy it for 25 more games or so.
He's on the same team as an MVP candidate. That's what happened.
And yet he has the worst shooting splits of his entire career 😲
@@yurilover2017because maybe he’s on a different team in his first year 😮 use your brain
@@yurilover2017 more open shots = more pressure = lower percentage. its not rocket science. its way harder to score if the other team is leaving you open and daring you to shoot the ball.
Or he’s a small point guard who is declining due to age and was never a top 10 player at any point anyways despite what his stans claim 🤷♂️
@@johnmarkson1998 open shots is literally less pressure by definition but ok.
That beard coming in really nice
Rusty " Im only high on my second channel " Buckets
All Star starter, just won the All Star MVP .. & doesn’t have empty stats anymore ..
Instead of playing with Jerami Grant, Sharpe & Simons .. he knows plays with Giannis, Middleton , Lopez and others ..
Rusty whens the next main channel video?
Can you please do a video at the end of this szn predicting who the top 50 players are going to be? I ask bc I play fantasy basketball so your insight would help
We love ya Rusty!
Guy who's been the 1st option his entire career moves to a completely different environment and is trying to acclimate himself to being a clear 2nd..its quite simple honestly 🤷♂️
3:48 this layup is nuts. I know this stuff happens a ton in nba games but just threading the needle through defenders like that… cool to see from this perspective
I will say people have really glossed over Dame getting divorced right before the season and given how family-oriented he’s always seemed and his stance on personal loyalty it’s probably affecting him a fair bit.
Dame becoming overhated and underrated. He always proves people wrong.
I think it is partly Dame still adjusting, he’s never been on a roster where he doesn’t have to be THE guy for all 48 minutes, it would explain why last night he looked like “Portland Dame” again, but I think it’s also, something that kinda gets overlooked, off the court things are distracting him somewhat.
People can’t act like his personal life won’t affect his play. He’s still a person
He's not the focal point of the offense now.
He's averaging 25/4/7 on 42.5/35.4/92.5. Not bad, but not superstar numbers. Dude is 33 years old, playing in a new system, on his second coach in one season. I think the impact he's having is on Giannis, more so than just his individual production - this is the first time Giannis has had a real co-star. There's a reason Giannis is hitting almost 62% from the field this season. I think it's due in part to having Dame out there.
He dropped 41 against the Clippers
Ayo staying hitting his over line 😎 🔒
Dame shouldn’t have started the all star game
He’s my favorite player since 2015 but I can’t recognize his play anymore.
Rusty looking mad healthy
12:49 let’s go baby deebo raptors legend
7:50 DLo passes to LeBron who goes "seriously?!" and gives it right back. I love that clip lmao
When it’s working DLO has sure a pretty game
I'm pretty excited for Ayo's improvement this year, been a big believer since the days at U of I. Still insane to me he fell out of the top 20
Just not gonna mention okc had a back to back vs the suns the night before and maybe JUST MAYBE that had an effect on their performance against LA
Honestly I didnt know that news about Dame and his wife, must notve been easy to make the transition across the country to a new team and deal with all that shit. Seems totally reasonable that hed stumble to start the season
Prime Dwight > AD as a lob threat
Lost by 35 to the kings and dames matchup “Fox” had 29 points
It's not rocket science. Damian (or anyone) who has to play actual defense will therefore have less gas for offence. Even folks like Kawhi had scoring and defending seasons SEPARATELY. Secondly, Dame isn't the number 1 option and the bucks aren't going to let him jack up shots just cause.
Imagine preparing to move to Miami and ending up in Milwaukee
You’ve been looking much more handsome and healthy recently bro 👍🏼
Dude dropped 41 yesterday.
What happened to Dame, is that he didnt have to carry a team to by himself to the WCF anymore
let me know which Clippers games you plan to watch so I can bet the under on PG, thanks 🙏🙏
Every single time the lakers have played us this season they just decide not to miss from 3
AD is a great lob threat, but the best lob threat in NBA history has to be either Blake Griffin or Shawn Kemp, right? Literally called Lob City
You have to take into account that Blake played with CP3
No, AD was the greatest lob threat and better than them since he has better mobility and can finish better at the rim than blake and the reign man. Blake's and Kemp's highlights may be more flashy than AD but AD is still the better lob threat. I am saying was since I think wemby will be the best lob threat in history
ad is the best lob threat of all time for sure but wemby coming for that title
I think the goat lob threat is Aaron Gordon but I respect AD .
wouldnt it be obvious that a a former #1 option on a bad team going to a contender team that is the bucks would see a drop in his stats... the offensive possessions he has now are different to the green light he had in portland, also the adjustment and sacrifices he has made to accustom himself to the bucks isnt something to gloss over.
Nobody has to be a genius to understand that he hast to share the ball with Giannis Antetokounmpo who is the Bucs, primary and leading score. Obviously he won’t be putting up as much points as in Portland, and will not be taking on the leader roll. He is now Batman‘s robin. Love you. Dame you’re doing great man.
So, like, I know a hundred other people have probably said it, but...
What if I told you Dame isn't the #1 scoring option on his team anymore? Would that perhaps contribute to us not seeing 40 point games "often enough?"
He’s averaging 24 ppg
Forget the Bucks bro, you have to consider this - Brunson has been carrying, for the most part, the Knicks garbage time players for months. Mitchell Robinson, OG, and Randle are all coming back before the end of the month. So Brunson has been playing on hard mode being guarded by entire defenses for months, and now you’re gonna give him those 3 back? It’s gonna be so easy for him and those 3 are well rested. Plus the bench players have been playing starter minutes for months, so now our bench squad is used to playing against starters and they’re even more powerful now. The Knicks are the threat to the Celtics.
Had same been bad this year?
Dame is still our savior, not saying he’s doing fantastic but he’ll show up when it matters
Right because he has such a great playoff history 😂
he similar to butler. he only turns up for the big games. if it aint the playoffs he gonna do lazy shot.
@bigjohncena6986 not even close. I love Dame and I'm a fan of him, but Dame has only made it to as far as the western finals just once in his career and got swept that year. Every other year before/after that, he's barely made it passed the 1st round. Jimmy's taken the heat with NAMELESS PLAYERS to the finals 2 out of the 4 times now, with last year being the 8th seed. There's NO comparison man 😅
he actually does look it up @@legoman2313
It's a god damn shame... ien Lillard
This man was supposed to be on a ring caliber team not this
I think with Dame it's a bit of regression also a bit of a headspace thing, he's gone through a pretty ugly divorce I remember his wife made statements about him basssically saying his entire image was a lie so that's maybe a factor but also he's a smaller guard who's about to be on the wrong side of 30 he's definately not getting the seperation he once did off the dribble and also isn't getting the same hight on his jumpshot.
I think tho the playoffs are gonna be the litnus test for if he's really on the decline.
he's a bad defender, but if he can show out enough on offense and find a way to not be exposed on defense every possession the bucks could make a run and I do feel like if any team was to have the personal to do as much it'd be the bucks but also at the same time thatd require a creative defensive scheme something doc really doesn't have.
The guys a one trick pony on that end and while there's nothing wrong with drop coverage per say the second his scheme is picked apart he seems to really struggle to adapt on the fly generally resorting to high risk low reward gimmicks i.e doubling jokic in the post while he's surrounded by shooters.
Man got divorced after being married for most of his life,no details were revealed but it was most likely an affair on her end. Give him time he will come back. Just like JP is coming back.
"No details revealed....most likely..." typical nba fan 🤡
@@heelyBrah What other reason would you divorce your wife after being married for 10+ years? If anything you’re the clown for not being able to put 2 and 2 together. 😂
@@A.N.N.E.Xlol but you actually don't know. Just speculating lmfao. I can say thay dame is a closeted homosexual and it's just as "likely" as your theory. Why? Because we don't have any details 😂

DAME TIME IS BACK!!! WE HEADING FOR THAT 2024 NBA CHIP. BUCKS IN 6!!!!!
Nothing happened to him. It’s just natural regression as you age. Nothing overly complicated
So...
Had a hard time playing with LaMarcus Aldridge...
Now a hard time with Giannis...
Its a pattern...
Not a pattern 😂
Damien Lillard is finished?
Rusty plz dont watch any clippers games in the playoffs🙏🏾
wow it’s almost like athletes are humans as well🤯🤯🤯 we like to use the real job comparison for players a lot when players miss games and we say “we just can’t miss work” which is true but now imagine being uprooted from your home to move to completely different part of the country while being separated from your children and going through a divorce making you completey without family when moving and tell me that wouldn’t affect your work for the worse?
Nothing happened to Damian Lillard he is what he always been the difference is he can not hide behind a bad team. Now that he is on a winning team he is exposed. Its moments like this that bring in the full limit of modern basketball fans. You guys look highlights and think someone is this top tier balla instead of looking at his record of being great on a bad team.
Dame isn't a superstar this season. He blew his chance not playing for the Heat,Dame F up.
Man nba fans are not fans anymore, takes like basketball is getting repetitive as is shooting mid rangers would fix it or claiming that defense does not exist and if there is too much defense like the San Antonio spurs and Detroit rings too boring. Then the end of the year is boring americans are bored of the season and want it to end
💯 the worst thing about the NBA is its fans
NBA fans are legitimate sociopaths. Mans goin through a divorce and moving halfway across the country, and they’re like “just deal with it you baby”. Generally horrible people, very few exceptions
He can’t stat pad anymore on a losing team. That’s what happened
Thats exactly it. The way he plays is fun to watch but when you’re shooting 2/9 in a lot of first halves of games and being a turnstile on defense you’re gonna get exposed when actually trying to contend for something. Like a lot of the criticisms trae young gets can be applied to dame except trae is a better playmaker and passer than dame and has started putting effort in on defense. The half court 3s are fun to watch when they go in but when you’re down 15 and are missing those shots when you’re supposed to be competing for a ring its less fun
Nothing happened to him. His incomplete game with abysmal defense got exposed that's all. Quite a lot of "superstars" who are a defensive liability would look like Michael Jordan on a trash team while they would be exposed in an actual contending team.
That’s the karma he deserves for throwing a hissy fit being a whiny crybaby hypocrite talking about “I’m not playing for any team other than Miami and will sit out”, just to get traded to the bucks 2 weeks later then flat out LIE on media day saying “I always felt like I belonged here”
Buddy weren’t you just whining and groaning 2 weeks prior bout you’d sit out for any other team? 💀💀🤡
Bulls a mediocre team?
Way too much credit.
This is gonna sound like cope from the Thunder fan in me but here it goes. That Lakers game was about as fake as it can get. They’re an awful 3 point shooting team that got really hot from 3 this shouldn’t make you believe in them because this isn’t typical or likely to be replicated. Also everyone on the Thunder just played bad despite LA’s unimpressive defence… also it was the second night of a back to back for okc
You sound so depressed
He’s not in Miami
Dame was always a mediocre player. People hype him as a great shooter but in reality he is a james harden type of high volume average 3pfg% player who fancies himself as steph
Deandre Jordan is the GOAT lob threat... I love AD but come on, man... 🤦♂️
He isn't though
@@winter9242 Then, who is?
@@supercasualgamer513 it's AD. AD has better mobility and dexterity to catch lobs and can finish better in the air. DJ has the most vicious lob highlight of all time but AD is a better lob threat. Plus lobs isn't just about dunking but finishing tosses and DJ also had the benefit of playing alongside cp3
@@winter9242 DJ has more than just that one highlight lol
Most of his points over the course of multiple seasons came from lobs. I agree that AD is more mobile and dexterous, but he isn't a better long finisher than prime DJ. You could put the ball anywhere and he'd go up and get it. CP3 was a great benefit to him, but it takes two to make that PnR work like that
@@supercasualgamer513 i do know that I'm just saying that DJ has the most vicious lob highlight as a compliment. His points are mixed though 50% came from lobs/layups and 50% came from putbacks since he's a great offensive rebounder. Who's the better finisher is debatable but lob threat≠lob finisher and AD has a similar range of catching lobs since they both have same wingspan. Combine that with AD's IQ on going to the rim, dexterity and mobility and his finishing he's indeed the greatest lob threat. Cp3 can make it work with almost any athletic big man though we've seen that more often than not and AD before bron only had rondo for 1 season to throw him easy lobs. I even think BG is a better lob threat than DJ
Nothing happened to him, he’s adjusting to a new team and environment, he will get back to normal soon
Ad goat lob threat lol blake griffin is the goat lob threat
Blake has the better highlights but he isn't the goat lob threat
@@winter9242 if u watched lob City it's between him n DeAndre cp3 used jus throw it n they used to jump high ASF to get ad wasnt on that lvl
@@AKWuzHere being a lob threat is not just jumping high af nor is it just dunking the ball but just putting the ball in the hoop. AD is the goat lob threat because he has better mobility and dexterity than both of them and he has been a better finisher in the air than them. I did watch the lob city era but they were one of the best lob threats because of their athleticism but AD's dexterity, mobility and finishing is no doubt better plus they heavily benefitted from having cp3 throwing lobs for them
@@winter9242 Blake definitely was a better finisher in his prime then AD n Giannis is a better lob threat embiid Shaq calling him the goat lob threat is blasphemy it's couple players better in the lob than him n Blake was more than athletic remember he had a handle to it too
@@AKWuzHere nah blake isn't the better finisher imo but greatest lob threat ≠ greatest lob finisher. I haven't even mentioned that AD's radius of catching lobs is larger than blake because of his wingspan. AD's wingspan is around 7'6 while blake only has 6'11 wingspan combined with his mobility and dexterity makes AD the greatest lob threat. Yeah blake had a handle but it isn't relevant here though
Welp Dame just dropped 10 points 2 of 12 from the friend vs the kings
Dude is the most overrated guard in the league
He has played more bad than good this season
Anybody who watched the bucks knows this is true Gianis has been carrying all season
He is playing well considering his personal life and divorce
The fact that he complains about the "Ring Culture" means it's all about the money for him. I'm glad he never went to the Heat.
He continue being Playoff Exit time with the Bucks. I wish the best for Giannis and Thanasis even if that means leabing the Bucks.
Gainnis is what happened he is no mvp very overrated and a terrible teammate .
So Giannis who already won a ring, MVP , fmvp, defensive player of the year award winner. Is overrated and somehow the reason dame is shooting and playing terrible.?
Jesus Christ loves you
AD is NOT the GOAT lob threat. You're crazy
This game tells me (and should tell everyone) there's absolutely nothing wrong with Dame. It's just a matter of getting acclimated/coaching.
Don’t care what anybody says. He should not have been an All Star. I’m taking Derrick White’s season over his any day of the week.
