They have got to come into these things more prepared, this was just embarrassing. Literally no one even said third party doctrine one single time. And it's abundantly obvious many of them are unfamiliar with it. Or just too embarrassed to talk about it.
if it is shame, who can blame 'em? It's not as though:
"Our government believes that two private individuals cannot have information b/w them, to which they hold privacy rights to be free from gov surveillance, search and seizure. As soon as you make a statement to another person, it's the same as leaving your trashcans at the end of your driveway in the eyes of our government,- free-game to steal and rummage through to try and find evidence of a crime!" Makes For a great cocktail party story

For decades, every time 535 members address our rights, the 4th amendment, somehow they take more citizens' rights and strengthen theirs..
If anything, elected members of government, including presidents, should be held under more public scrutiny than American citizens. Maybe their private business should be open-source for us?.

    • @malachi-
      @malachi- Před 2 měsíci

From the 1980s, but has gotten even worse.
      545 people
      By Charley Reese
Politicians are the only people in the world who create problems and then campaign against them.
Have you ever wondered why, if both the Democrats and the Republicans are against deficits, we have deficits? Have you ever wondered why, if all the politicians are against inflation and high taxes, we have inflation and high taxes?
You and I don't propose a federal budget. The president does. You and I don't have the constitutional authority to vote in appropriations. The House of Representatives does. You and I don't write the tax code. The Congress does. You and I don't set fiscal policy. the Congress does. You and I don't control monetary policy. The Federal Reserve Bank does.
One hundred senators, 435 congressmen, one president, and nine Supreme Court justices - 545 human beings out of 238 million- are directly, legally, morally and individually responsible for the domestic problems that plague this country.
I excluded the members of the Federal Reserve Bank because that problem was created by the Congress. In 1913, Congress delegated its constitutional duty to provide a sound currency to a federally chartered but private central bank.
I exclude all of the special interest and lobbyists for a sound reason. They have no legal authority. They have no ability to coerce a senator, a congressman or a president to do one cotton-picking thing. I don't care if they offer a politician $1 million in cash. The politician has the power to accept or reject it.
No matter what the lobbyist promises, it is the legislator's responsibility to determine how he votes.
Don't you see now the con game that is played on the people by the politicians? Those 545 human beings spend much of their energy convincing you that what they did is not their fault. They cooperate in this common con regardless of party.

Omitted: **EVERY** person in ANY foreign land has **NO Constitutional protection**. And likewise, **EVERY** person within the borders of the United States DOES have constitutional protections. That's why Nadler sounds clueless saying Foreigners do not have constitutional protection, because any foreigner located in America, does.
Some might argue the “protections” of refugees at the border is more of a humane question than a constitutional one. However, for those unmoved by compassion, the above applies for the border As well, so it's not a bleeding heart or hypocrisy that protects those people-- it's that same good old constitution we keep hearing rumors

January 6th wasn't an insurrection, if it was we would still be fighting or cleaning up the mess nation wide. You're living in delusion if you think the people of this nation would allow anyone to sit in officer longer than their 2, 4 year terms. That was a protest that was weaponized. Those doors to the capital building only can be opened by someone with access codes and the police literally let people inside and escorted them. Were there some people who were acting a fool, sure, were there people who bastardized the whole purpose of the protest, absolutely. Were there capital policer who murdered a women, absolutely. Those people were entrapped and you know it but refuse to live in reality. That was not anything even closely related to an insurrection, there is too much evidence in the contrary. We are all being lied to by the media to spin stories in both directions, all the media companies pushing this left and right propaganda are LITERALLY all owned by the same broadcast companies the approve what can be aired and what can't. It's all a dog and pony show to distract and divide people from more serious issues.
