Also you can bring your lord to battle with another legendary lord then disband them and only summon them in another battle where they can get a defeat trait then disband them again. This allows you to get all defeat traits without trashy traits taking up valuable space.

Model size can often play into the overall damage reduction ability of a lord purely by way of its hitbox. Even with damage resistances and buffs aside a lord with a larger hit-box i.e. Skarbrand, N'kari, Taurox and Kholek to name a few are statistically more likely to be hit by missile fire than smaller lords like Vlad, Malus or Luthor (on foot) and every resistance has a cap usually at 90% so if a ton of missiles are flying in generally speaking larger lords will take more damage (not that regen wont heal much of it off). Although with mass this is alleviated somewhat as you can just charge through to the problem units without being bogged down. So Small and Large Entity lords have their ups and downs. But to me nothing is funnier seeing a 15000 mass Kholek just gliding though infantry like they are grass. Not to mention Malus just getting full health when he transforms is just hilarious. Love your content keep it up.
Thanks very much! I didn't go into model size in this video because I figure people like the lords that they like, and you can't change the model size. Kholek is one of my favorites for that reason too :D My current Skarbrand campaign has me trying to snowplow through everything in every battle!

Great video! Very informative, I can tell you put a lot of effort into this. Will definitely go for those traits in my next campaign. I'm thinking a Dwarf LL for the extra rune buffs.
I reccomend the mod "Cpecific's trait manager" to anyone who wants to farm traits (it's outdated but still works). This lets you delete traits you don't want if you exceed the 40 trait limit.
I'm glad you liked it! The only dwarf LL I've tried is Grombrindal bit his stats got insane without even trying. I'm sure your campaign will go great :)
@@AntonBGaming Oh yeah Grombrindal is a beast. I personally don't like starting in Naggaroth because besides Valkia the factions there don't pose much of a threat there early game... Although he is probably the strongest dwarf LL. Belagar gets really strong too - he just doesn't die once you level him up a bit. He is one of the only characters that I'm aware of who gets a gold shield.

Vlad is definitely a great choice :D I liked playing wood elves, even though the only time I did it on stream was with the hat of doom. I'll make a note that their SFO campaign is good!

Miao Ying is my lord of choice. She is second only to Malus, fighting with Ziao Ming for top 2 spot. Cathay caravan items are pretty good, you get early regeneration through Von Carstein Blade and later you can get a combination of great items, including Bejewelled Dagger. Stacking Ward Save is very important. If you want overpowered one man doomstack - go for those with 2 health pools!
Oh yeah Miao Ying is soooo strong as a solo fighter. I (slightly) prefer Ziao because I like to explode stuff but she's quite fun to use as well :D
Actually you can replace the fear enchanted item with common rarity ironcurse icon generic that gives 10% missille resist, and replace obsidian blade with common rarity weapon fencers blade that gives 6 melee defence. The extra 10 misille resist is literally 100 times more powerful than fear and so is the extra melee defence.
I like fear and terror routs but I can definitely see situations, particularly where you are a large lord, where your build is way better! Thanks for the idea!
where did you find the map with all LL start positions?
I think Mercythemad sent it to me. Not sure where he got it.
It's annoying way is just go to legendary lord on the menu and just look at where they start, I'm sure there might be something online

That’s true! Doomstacks for me are all about seeing what’s possible in the game, rather than actually winning (because as you say, by this time that’s already happened). I’d seen several one-man doomstack videos and wanted to see how one would go about making them, so this video was born :)
