Find someone who looks at you the way that AJ looks at dipping sauces.
You just don't / can't appreciate the quality of these videos until you start watching others trying to do the same thing. NOBODY compares to DFB Guide! NOBODY!
Uncle Skull ya there’s a reason for that.
I know right!!! It took me AGES to find DFB!!!
DFB Guide and Dis Unplugged are both awesome !
Wish I had found them before our trip in January honestly 🤦♂️
@@RLucas3000I like Dis Unplugged, but they can really negative sometimes.
Laughed out loud at the fly on the fried twinkie. He wanted that to be real. LOL.
Your voice is perfect for these videos ! So happy and calming ! Love watching the videos 😀😀
I got EMBARRASSINGLY excited that you guys made a longer (22 minute!!) video. HELL YES.
P.i.p.e.r.o we just got back a few days ago. We were in Disney for 3 weeks. We come every year for 3 weeks, for Christmas and new year. Must be mad given how busy it is! We do live in the Uk though so it’s common for people from UK to come for 2 weeks just not 3 but we mad Disney fans! X
Me too! I'm WAY too obsessed with this channel and Disney.
This is how I would remake the cheese. Buy Garlic Boursin. Shape it into a cute disc or leave the shape as is if you like. Freeze it until solid and then prepare a standard flour/egg/seasoned breadcrumb station. Heat oil to about 350F and then coat the frozen cheese in flour, followed by egg, then seasoned breadcrumbs. Drop it into the oil and fry until golden. The frozen cheese should allow the center to remain intact while the crust seals it all in. Buy some focaccia (unless you want to make it) and slice into strips, spread a little butter or oil on top, add some salt and pepper before toasting in a 400 degree oven for about 5 minutes or until toasty the way you like it. Add your chosen accouterments and dig in!
I second this recipe 😊 exactly how you would do it.
What is a “cute disc”?
I agree with Glitter Fallout, I could watch AJ’s videos all day!!!! 22 minutes of CZcams bliss.
THIS IS why people go for like 10 days!
p i p e r .o. We went for 19 days this year. 10 days are for amateurs 😆
@@louiseherrick1728 👍😆😆😆
15 days for us!
We went for 8 back in 2014. Yes I agree I wish we had stayed longer. I can’t wait to go again
I’ve been bingeing these videos for MONTHS since I’m going to Disney with my family for the first time. I can’t wait to tag you guys in the photos so you can see ❤️
Ka'Neisha Davis I just came back from there a week ago and if you are going when they are still running the Halloween party I would suggest you choose to go to magic kingdom on those days. You’ll technically lose a few hours of your time as they close at 6 if you don’t have a ticket for the event but we found that the park was so much emptier than on the other days. Waiting times were max 40 mins for most rides and we managed to do almost the whole park in a day!
xxSydneyFox good advice! My family visited MK the day MNSSHP opened this season and the park was practically empty prior to 6pm. We rope dropped at 9 and left at 6pm, we did EVERYTHING. It didn’t feel rushed at all!
xxSydneyFox I plan on attending the Very Merry Christmas Party, I won’t be going until the end of November so it’ll be over by that time. But thanks so much for the advice, I need as much as I can get!

Love how there's a fly on the fried twinkie photo at the Friar's Nook LMAO!
There’s a fly on the sign... on the fried Twinkie🤣
This thing, this small thing called happiness, I love when my favourites CZcams channels upload a +20 minutes video.
From Dec 2020: this video is a couple of years old now. We watch DFB videos literally every night during dinner - new videos & old. But I love that in this video you are highlighting venues that you don't normally talk about. I swear there are a couple of places I'd never heard of before. Love DFB!
a "business meeting" at a disney restaurant.....rough life, lol.
She wasnt complaining
“...I die. I love it. I don’t know what to do...” and “....ugh okay I’ll stop...”. Can’t stop laughing 😍
Please don't stop the amazing content! I'm going in December for a week and my food hunt is going to be legendary
Does the fried Twinkie come with the fly or is that extra?
Right? Lmao
Going to Magic Kingdom right now!!! Love these videos and the DFB guide and snack guides! So informative and helpful!!! 🥰
Thanks for this AJ!! Having very stress day...you brightened it 😊
We went to Polite Pig during the first week of October because you talk about it so much on the channel and we LOVED it! We ended up eating there for lunch AND dinner. It's an incredible value if you're using the quick service dining plan. And we were able to get the cookie! It was DELICIOUS.
There's a fly on that Twinkie 😂
Wow I didn't know there were so many different foods I haven't tried yet! Now I have to try them all! Thanks for the great video and keep up the great work!
Thank you for this video! We put some new places and items on our list for our next trip!
I've been watching your videos to keep me calm while waiting on a response for the Disney College Program and honestly I love them so much. Y'alls videos are so great!! Have a magical day!
I almost had a heart attack when I saw that fly on the Fried Twinkie's menu photo. But then I relaxed when my brain made the assumption that it probably was just a fly on the actual menu poster! xD
I was hoping that fried cheese from 50s Prime Time was on here....I actually cheered when you featured it first! Oh man, it may be one of my very favorite eats in Disney World.
AJ, thanks for all the work you put into these videos, and for the mention of "cinnamon toast" a fond childhood memory.
Can't wait for my trip in Dec! I am
Making lots of food notes!! Thanks!
Prep for my trip. getting so excited!
This is fantastic. Will have to share with my family.
Great job, as always. AJ! Some of the these I've been fortunate enough to have, others I'd love to try! You definitely won my heart (and my DROOL!) talking about (and showing) the NYC-area pepperoni cup pizza (NE NJ here). Yummmmmmm!!!!!
OMG, the pepperoni cups! Also, is that what they’re called? I know that at prince street pizza or whatever, you can ask for your square pepperoni slice with crispy pepperoni, and get lots of that stuff on top. Saw it on Strictly Dumpling! Like if your a Mikey Chen lover, other than DFB guide, of course!
I went 2 weeks ago to polite pig and they told me they have them all day and can sell out by noon for the gideon cookies!
The Trifecta of Bread Pudding! Fabulous.
You can make the cheese at home-tastes just like it! Go to the grocery store and buy the Borson cheese in the box that is garlic and herb flavored. Cut it in half so the circle isn’t as thick and freeze it. Then while it’s frozen, dip it in egg wash and then breadcrumbs but do this twice. Then fry it in oil. Can’t beat it.
Yes love the bread pudding at hob. Myrtle beach had it this year when you mentioned it the first time . Love it!
AJ, thank you for everything. You made my Walt Disney Honeymoon all the more exciting. Love your work!
I am so glad that you included the Plaza Restaurant:) :) that was probably my favorite restaurant from my last trip down
Those mini donuts are why I go back to the water parks time and time again !!
The mini donuts are soooo good!
I have so many restaurants I want to try now. I can’t wait to go again someday
Thanks ABunches for the information, Wise Woman!
The Carrot cake at River rooste is my go to dessert !!!!!
Personally, I think one of the most underrated dishes is the cheese plate at Artist Point. In general, Artist Point is kinda a hit or miss restaurant, but the last time I visited I ordered the cheese plate and it was, hands down, some of the best cheese I've had in my life, and I've tried an embarrassing amount
Has anyone ever had the eggroll in Adventureland at Magic Kingdom? We could have just eaten a huge meal, if the eggroll cart is open (by Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse), we are getting those eggrolls! I don't know what it is but they are just so good!!
Those tots look so yummy! I’ll deff try them when I leave for Disney World in 10 days 🤗
A very good tip for the Sinful cinnamon!! Get the Cinnabitz! I used to work there and whenever we sold the pretzels, people thought that the whole pretzel held more in quantity but it was actual the cinnamon and sugar pretzel bag that had the most quantity. Id ask them to make sure that the cinnamon and sugar mix to be spread evenly among the bits because it sometimes wouldn't, but yeah. Just a helpful tip from a former employee :)
That pepperoni pizza at Pizza Ponte is amazing! Way better than Blaze!!
Thanks AJ ❤️
Just booked our reservations!! I’m getting so excited and watching these are NOT helping 😂
Yoonminisrealdammit when r u going me 3 weeks
Love the phrase "scalloped potatoes situation", not sure that's even been uttered before.
Yikes! check out the fly on the pic of the fried twinkie at 22:06!
whoops I mean 7:17!
I noticed that too! Lol came to the comments to see if anyone else said something.
That's the first fly I've ever seen at Disney World.
If you zoom in, you'll see it's actually wearing little Mickey ears!
Please tell me the fly is on the board, and wasn't photographed on the Twinkie, lol. Otherwise everyone will want their free fly with their Twinkie, ha ha.
Disney Cruise has an excellent fried cheese in the Royal Palace on the Dream. Yummy 😋 has. It’s not uncommon for us to go to the lounges and order appetizers as a meal. It has become a favorite for us.
Wetzel's Pretzels looks like Auntie Anne's Cinnamon Sugar Pretzel!! They are good!
I was at Polite Pig two weeks ago, and I completely forgot about the Gideon's Bakehouse cookies. I'm going back to Disney Springs this weekend and WILL get one. Thanks for the reminder, AJ!
I NEEEEEEDDDD THESE FOODS!!! 🤤
On the gluten free churros-- Gluten free dough tends to be made of things like rice and potato, starches naturally sweeter than wheat, so there are some desserts that are amazing in GF form!
just had the churros at nomad lounge. they were amazing!!!!
My mom always made me cinnamon sugar toast too! I make it for myself still occasionally for comfort food.
Im in Disney World right now so i will have to check some of these out! Im just about to try the cheshire cat tale you recommended!!!! So excited to!
Ella Rose I’ll recommend the 7 layers rice bowl from fairfax fare in Hollywood studios. Was sooo nice.
Loved the Chesire Cat Tale at MK! Tried it on AJ's reco and it is yummy!
Ella Rose how was it
Tiff Prendergast
So good thank you!! Seems like a distant memory now lol!
I used to work at Wide World of Sports and sometimes I would just get a cinnamon Wetzel’s Pretzel for lunch with the caramel dipping sauce 😍🤤
(1) The Krakatoa is amazing. And you can get it outside on the terrace, as you'll never get into Trader Sam's proper. The souvenir cup was worth it, too! (2) Tusker House is the best character dining on site. Ditto on the Mac and cheese and corn dog poppers.
Those dub shbudds look 👀 amazing
I went to the Plaza Restaurant on my first trip! (Can't say nobody goes there their first time!) Definitely underrated. We are looking forward to going back.
Another underrated eat: the club sandwich at the bakery in norway in epcot! my family and I get it every time we're in epcot for lunch. It's like bacon, cheesy, onion, ham goodness. Definitely ask for it warmed up!
I'm making an ADR at the Plaza for our next Disney trip all because of DFB. Been to Disney plenty of times and never tried it!
We went to Polite Pig last week. If you want those Gideon half pound cookies, be there by 4pm. They were sold out at 5pm. They go FAST! We drove to their bakery on our way out of town. So good! Worth it to go there, several varieties and only $5 each (instead of $8 or however much they charge at the Pig). Just beware that parking is a challenge!
I love this channel sooooooo much!!! Can you guys do a best places to eat when you're vegetarian or vegan, my mom and I are vegetarian and she's allergic to dairy but we love Disney and we love Disney food, and would LOVE to have your recommendations on best places to eat, whether they're table service, counter service, grab and go, anything.
Bec Lowe they did done
I love AJ and I love her videos! However, a large percentage of the content is about either desserts, carbs, or fried foods. I would love to hear more about other options for us adventurous eaters!
Agreed! I usually love her videos but this one lowkey annoyed me, it was pretty one dimensional 😯
The mini donuts look like the tubes for the lazy river!
AJ....you need to have the banana bread pudding at Olivia’s. I don’t like bread pudding, but I love this stuff!!
Thanks for this list. I'm going to try to grab a few of these on my next trip! I hadn't heard of orgeat before either and looked it up, but it is pronounced "or-zhat." Apparently it is "the good part of a mai tai!"
There is a berry dessert at the German buffet at Epcot that is amazing. You put a vanilla bean cream on top.
Bread pudding at Raglan is best on property
I'm staying at the Port Orleans Riverside next February. I'll have to try the tots there!
I visited Beaches and Cream for the first time in July. The tomato bisque is not vegetarian, unfortunately, but the veggie burger I got with an onion spread was amazing!
Jennifer Walawander really? I was so looking forward to trying it. What’s in it that makes it not vegetarian?
I'm not sure, but I'm assuming chicken stock. I asked the waitress (who was amazing) if the tomato bisque was vegetarian, and she immediately said that it wasn't.
Its not just you! Ive found alot of gluten free goodies are actually way better than their regular counterparts! Idk whhy, but I bet those churros are amazing!
pepperoni cup pizza is # 1!
Thanks, now I want bread pudding. Love the stuff so much. Great video!
Something happened to me on my recent trip last week. I went to Magic Kingdom on a Wednesday, and not only was the park horrifically crowded, but Plaza Restaurant was turning down everyone unless they had a reservation. I had NEVER heard of reservations being required at the restaurant. And based on my experiences vs. the last time I was there, Disney is MUCH more visited than it used to be.
all WDW sit down restaurants require advance dining reservations
Grilled cheese and tomato bisque is the only thing I order at Beaches n Cream. This isn’t bc nothing else looks good, but bc it’s just that delicious.
Hi! I like your videos, you have a very nice voice 😄
Just came back from Disney World. Was awesome and we used lots of tips from DFB. If anyone is interested in tips that we learned as foreigners I’m happy to answer your questions here. Practical things like buses, airport, weather etc.
Bread Pudding is a staple in New Orleans that’s where the HofB gets its recipe. Also, Abita beer is everywhere in NOLA. Unfortunately, the Sunshine Strawberry shortcake has changed, it’s now in a cup😞. I hope they bring back the original which is awesome!
Spot that fly on the fried Twinkie @7:20 💀😂
A.J. You are great
Love your videos but would love to see a video on the healthier choices around walt disney world...this would help on my need trip...thanks
I agree!! Especially, we need a video on sugar-free and low sugar choices. It's easy to avoid desserts, but what about regular foods that have a lot of added sugar? Some of them are not obvious at all. We need a list!!
Blizzard beach used to have pulled pork and jerk chicken nachos they were amazing and definately would have been on the list if they hadn't gotton rid of them years ago
I always liked the Smokie City at Raglan Road
Can you please do a video for lactose free options, as someone lactose intolerant I can tell you it was tough to find good desserts.
YAY
Have you tried the grey stuff from black rose tavern in Disneyland?
I went to Citricos either last year or the year before and the Florida shrimp was gone 😭 good to know they bring it back sometimes
I miss the Mickey jalepeno cheese pretzel from the America stand in Epcot....I hope it comes back!!!😭
That pepperoni on that pepperoni pizza can also be found at Marco's pizza franchises. They call it old world pepperoni.
You missed the brussels sprouts at Polite Pig. They are amazing!
I realize I am late to this party but orgeat is pronounced or-zhaat. We make our own trader vic's mai tais at home and had to buy that for the recipe only to find out you can make it yourself on the cheap. it is just simple syrup with almond extract.
OMG Gluten-free churros!!!!!!
I'll meet ya over at The House of Blues in Dallas! Just a 25 minute drive for me. ;)
Wetzel’s Pretzels cinnamon pretzel is a MUST DO in Disney Springs! Every time!! It’s so good!
