Does the 76 Jumbo suffer in War thunder?

- I decided to play the 76 Jumbo for a few games because I saw someone complain that it was suffering.

I think the reason why many complain is that the people who unlock it think that since they have a better gun, they can take a more direct approach. But thanks to the br tweak, the play style really won't change from the regular Jumbo. I'd say the up-gun is preferable because it can hold its own better in an uptier (not so sure about fulls since 7.3 is rough even for 6.7s) compared to the regular Jumbo and benefits even more from downtiers.
my thoughts before i fully watch the video?
it doesn't suffer largely, but there are some tanks which it really shouldn't face (like the tiger 2h and is3). the stabilizer is good, the armor can occasionally be useful, the mobility is overall decent and the only thing really hindering you is your poor reverse speed: the hallmark of a sherman vehicle. i enjoy american 6.3 cause it can use those punchy guns, mobility and stabilizers to dominate close quarters.
plus it helps that your opposition is often really clueless

@@levoderso7469 they are using a 76.2 cannon, which has aphe with bad pen or apcr with bad post pen damage. This tank is only good if the enemies are stupid or if the person playing it is insanely good

@@levoderso7469 fr, ive played 5.7 on both, and while germany is 100% better, it dont matter if your iq is above 90
Gaijin really has to up the rewards for ground rb 20 kills and only 11k rp earned is ridiculous great gameplay tho
yeah but that can encourage bad habits in players tbh. should reward more for playing objectives and getting kills while near objectives. however, he wasn't camping a spawn so that does make a difference lol
@@TermIANator I mean he got 20 kills defending the objective from the enemy team the entire time id think that should warrant at least 15k to 20k rp for basically single handedly winning the game
there should be a multiplier on rp when near allies and objectives.
Why did you not refill crew once you were down to two in the second video? Just would be giving up positioning?
exactly, I felt like it wasn't worth getting a new crew member when they are pushing everywhere.
War Thunder Mobile its is 50/50 APCR pens a lot better even with less damage but it was literally just added this event

Not necessarily suffering, it wrecks in downtiers and holds its own very well in slight uptiers, full uptiers on the other hand is an entirely different thing, depends on the player.

Because the armor is like Swiss cheese. It’s a heavy assault tank. The entire point is it should be able to withstand SOME shots but everything that shoots at it kills in one hit

Flank brother, flank. If not, just tank shots and shoot barrels. It's tricky to play but when played right its one of the best tanks in the game!
Beltieve or not I acquired the APHE rounds on the 75 jumbos by doing literally everything other than killing tanks. Tanking rounds, capping points, getting assists by blowing out gun barrels and tracks, and getting plane kills with the .50
