tDCS is currently being investigated for autism. pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/33773886/. There is still no consensus on a standard protocol (montage and settings), but research remains active. Therefore, this application would still be considered exploratory.

Great question! There is ongoing research on tDCS for stroke. The current sentiment is that tDCS may help, but more research is needed to differeniate the effects of tDCS from general recovery and determine what are the optimal parameters to administer tDCS. Check out these papers:
