ok, at about 5:10 when she slips under the waves and the bow hits the bottom, the fact that it broke in almost the same spot and the stern went straight up makes it seem like the actual sinking.
Yes. The first thing I noticed is that this is not true to scale. If the ship stood vertically, some 200 ft of it would still be standing above the surface of the water.
@@TopHatTITAN Yeah you’re right! I saw that the Lusitania, being 700 something feet in length, had sank in 305 feet of water, far shallower than the length of the ship.
So the Edmund Fitzgerald is part of a ship pack on the Floating Sandbox website. You can go to the download ship pack section and scroll down to the bottom. The very last pack has the Fitz
Actually, Edmund Fitzgerald was on Lake Superior, Lake floors are Just a few Inches, Edmund Fitzgerald hit A Big wave and then The Front of the Ship hit the Floor, then the Back of the ship Broke apart, then It lies dont 46 Years ago (i think.)

The water is too deep in your example. The ship is 729 feet long and dove down into 530 feet of water.

Would that have meant when the ship sank, that part of the ship was still sticking out of the water when the bow hit the bottom? So sad and terrible.
Yes. Many shipwrecks occur in waters that are shallower than the ship's length

Ships do bend and twist to an extent, just not that much.
