@@jamesmoore8873 I have went through multiple different sets of sights, both regular height and suppressor height on my non MOS 43x, not sure why others are saying it has to be the MOS version, it's simply not the case. The only difference between MOS and non is the ability to run an optic, and the added MOS rail for the ability to run accessories on the MOS. You can 100% add suppressor height sights on both the 43x and 43x MOS.

I would also recommend taking you mags apart & spray the Mag body & Mag Spring with Liquid Graphite (Pencil Lead). Make the mags run super smooth. I do this to ALL of my mags & have had Zero Malfunctions in my S15's. Just a suggestion.
Birchwood casey aluminum black works really good on the holosuns and steam lights btw…gives it a slight ghosting effect to the lettering. Super easy to do

The screw affecting the extractor problem was the same thing that happened to me on my P80 g19, it made sense after I looked at it in more detail but thank god it wasn’t something else! Glad I wasn’t the only one with this issue! 😅

I have the exact same 43X MOS build except I run an Agency Arms premier line threaded barrel. I love the Johnny Glocks Combat system and the Vex shoe. Definitely takes some getting used to but it's about as good as a Glock trigger can be. I dig the Goon Tape on the Talon grip, I might steal that look!
I have bought 2 of the gen 2 S15 mags and the Shield Arms' own steel mag catch. Each mag I've tested with defense loads, there was 1 failure to feed, which was solved with a tap and rack. From then on, I had ZERO malfunctions with at least 2 more fully loaded mags +1 in the chamber of assorted defense loads and then over 300 rounds of assorted FMJs. So far, I'm happy with what I got. I may get a 3rd S15 mag with the 5 round extension or giggles

the 43x is the most comfortable Glock I've ever held. I thought my 19x felt good but i snagged a 43x a couple weeks ago and it makes the 19x feel like a brick in my hand lol.

Best channel ever!! 👊I had the same issue with my Glock 22 when i swapped the original mag-release button with a new one built in alluminum. It destroyed the magazine-cacth in both my magazines, so i needed to buy two new magazines. Actually i'm running the Strike Industries polymer mag-release button, it works and feels great, without having any type of issues :)

Great review bro. I’ve carried glocks for years. I’ve been considering the p365x macro but after watching this I’m thinking about replicating your setup. Shocked that the shield arms mags are sucking. I just got two 9rnd for my g43.

Ever since I saw your 43x in another video I've really wanted to build one. Unfortunately my distributors don't have any 43X MOS's in stock which stinks but hopefully I'll be able to build one soon because I love the premise of a subcompact with the ability to shoot silenced. In its place, for now, I'm getting parts together to do a custom P365X Macro build which I'm excited about.
I was starting to get excited to hear a fix for my shield arms mags constantly jamming…. But I don’t even have an optic or an MOS for that matter and mine still jam at least twice per mag. Going back to OEM and giving PsA dagger mags a try.
My 43x MOS convinced my buddies to get the CR920. The CR has its issues, but it makes me appreciate my S15 mags a little more.

I subbed like two weeks ago and I keep coming back to your videos because of the quality and information. Im running my 43x similar to your and my question is how did you get the hockey tape to say secured? I order the same one you have.
Glad to hear someone got the S15 mags to work. I picked up 3 along with the premium mag catch. And had nothing but problems just function testing them with SnapCaps. My problem with them was that the mag follower was not probably interfacing with the slide stop/release. Causing misfeeds, jamming and failure to lock open on the last round. Also the geometry of the magazine just seemed off to me. It didn't properly fit in the magazine well, seemed to loose and rattled around. But I was able to return everything and get most of my money back. hopefully they'll do an update in address the problems people are having. Cuz I really wanted these things to work... O well, Factory mags and plus threes from the Glock Store are working just fine.
Yeah dang it man I’m sorry!! They were so frustrating for me until they worked haha but I honestly loved running my OEM mags!
Likewise I had the same issues with mine and I wasn’t able to return them bc I actually shot rounds through them and I sent them back to get tested and of course SA said they were fine and sent them back to me. I sold them and sticking with OEM just carry another mag.
I had the same problems, as bad as I want to use my s15 mags but everytime I hit the range I have malfunctions.
I'm going back to oem. I'm comfortable with ten rounds that works all the time.

You made me going to buy my 1st pistol ever, the Glock 43X MOS, just by watching your videos on repeat :) your videos are the best-looking awesome to watch with amazing content! I just need to know about the JG Vex, I personally want the heavier pull trigger, do I need to buy just the shoe and use the Glock OEM trigger bar? could you share a link to which Vex from JG website I need to purchase (or the name) as I see 3 options on his website and on each one there's 2 other options - made me a bit confused here...otherwise, very excited here!!
I missed Goon Tape’s last restock so I’m glad to know I can grab some regular hockey tape for my 19X until they can get some OD in. Looking at a 43X for a “summer carry” option. Looking forward to building it out with some of your recommendations

I had the same issues with the s15 mags and shield sent me the premium mag release and it solved the problem the s15 mags have been flawless since the switch
I don't think it's the mag release that's causing the malfunction. I had the standard steel release and fired the 2 OEM Glock mags in it with no malfunction. The mag release is only meant to hold the mag and drop it free.

Great and fun stuff! We should advise people not to mess with the factory settings if 43x will be their edc, don't fix what's not broken...and that thin baby is the best Micro-subcompact outhere! I've used only johnny's conector, and it made a world of difference while keeping 100% reliability.

Any more updates on the S15 mags ? I also tried them again, shot exactly 300 rounds on Magtech 115 FMJ with 1 malfunction. I can live with that so far. Will continue trying and report failures/ round count

I have a G43XMOS and I love it. I like Safariland ALS and all of my other pistols have that for holsters. I can not find an OWB Safariland holster for this pistol. Any suggestions?

Damn it, I’m running the Hyve mag release on poly mags (being in CT I can’t run the shields). Haven’t had a issue yet but I don’t want to wreck my mags… also what height BUIS are you running from Night Fision with that C&H adapter plate? I know they make quite a few different heights

God I wish I could get the s15 mags to work. Running a completely stock G43x MOS with the metal mag catch and I couldn't get through a single mag without a jam or misfeed. Had to just go back to OEM mags :(

In regards to an extended slide stop. I have had one from Tryant designs for over a year now and it is starting to flop around and not stopping the slide properly. Recently I bought a 43X MOS complete frame. I visually compared the two and there are differences. I went to the Vickers sight and looked at the slide stop you purchased and it looks identical to the Tryant Designs. I would like to send a pic to show you what I'm talking about.

Also which trigger shoe do you like better overall? The og flat face JG combat trigger shoe you first had or the newer JG vex trigger shoe? Going to put in my order and wanted to see what you had to say before. Love the channel!

I have trouble, with forcing my magazines out when I installed the empire kaftan Maxwell. no clue what is restricting my mags from releasing

Awesome videos! I'm torn between getting the Glock 43x mos or the Sig 635 x macro non-comp. I'm coming off using a Beretta Nano, so both are decent upgrades. Question, which JG Vex trigger did you install, the 43x model or the newer VEX 1 without the set screw? Once I decide which way I'm going, I plan to join your KIT page to help with the build out. I have found myself wanting to give the S15 mags a try as well. One thing that I noticed is that the steel mag release from SA with the Gen 2 mags takes noticeably less movement/pressure to drop the mag than the stock release with OEM mags. The mags click and are secure (can't get them to drop free by pulling on them or rattling the gun hard) but they drop free with what seems to be minimal pressure directly on the release.
Do you notice the same with yours? I am using the ambi release, not the premium that is LH or RH.
Ive noticed this with mine also. The magazines are not reliable in my pistol. They are fine until the pistol gets hot, then i get multiple jams per magazine.
A buddy of mine who also runs a G48 told me first when I mount an optic to NOT over torque the screw or else it will mess up the gun
Wish you spoke a bit about your choice of MOA dot. Your site says it’s the 2 MOA. Curious why you chose that rather than the 6 MOA or MRS

Are you using the SilcencerCo piston. I noticed it wasnt mentioned and their website says it's needed for the 43x because of the shorter threads. Any feedback would be great. Thanks
Have you had any issues with your empire magwell? Mines got some chipping near the screw after 100 rounds and they basically said its from using steel mags (s15 mags). Little disappointed after spending $75
