I've been struggling to put either la or le in front of a word. Asked French friend but he didn't give best explanation. And now it starts to make sense. Still remember the first time i was so frustrated learning it. Yes slowly it makes sense. Bisou et merci beaucoup 🖤

I love the way you teach us French
so easy, unlike german where a feminine word that uses die can use a masculine der depending on whether it's nominative, dative, etc, etc. etc. then you have the der, das, den.... and these can be masculine, neuter, plural, or whatever you can get away with. but bottom line, gender in languages like french and german is still a thing, and something that will be slow in phasing out.

I've been pronouncing Chapeaux, Shah-poo. Even though my grandfathers name is Rambeaux, Ram-bo. Now my 1 year old brother pronounces Chapeaux wrong too. Oh no! I will show him the right way lol
