Thank you so much Alexa! My French lesson on the possessive adjectives were thoroughly muddling. This helped so much.
Dear Alexa ! You are a great teacher who goes into every tiny detail- practically i learnt a lot from you and still learning- many thanks Hanna xxxxxx
For Spanish speakers is easier because they look pretty similar, nice video!
Pd: I didnât think about the example of âitâs her coatâ haha đ€Ł
Yes, it is easier for Spanish speakers.
It can be easier from us (I'm Colombian) than English speakers, but grammatically is more difficult than we are used to it.

OML I LOVE THIS TEACHERRRR!
Thanks for explanation
There's an exception for ma, ta, and sa (feminine singular version of my, your [tu form], and his/her/its respectively):
While ma, ta, and sa are used with feminine singular nouns, their respective masculine counterparts (mon, ton, son) are euphonically used if this type of noun begins with a vowel-like sound.
Also, if there is a singular adjective that falls between a singular-person possessive determiner and a feminine noun, and this adjective begins with a vowel-like sound, even if the noun begins with a consonant, mon, ton or son are used in this matter (eg sa soeur, but son autre soeur), but if this adjective begins with a consonant, even if the noun begins with a vowel-like sound, ma, ta, or sa are used in this matter (eg mon idée, but ma nouvelle idée). In other words, these possessive determiners must agree with the adjective's first letter in this matter, NOT the noun's.
Thanks for this, I appreciate it
mam already said this

Hello Alexa, love your videos. I would love to access the support guides. The link takes me to a page offering levels of membership to join. Is this required to find the guides? If so, which level should be chosen? Thank you in advance.

Is there a rule for when it correct to use votre or ton besides formal and informal?
I am a new student where can I find the simple guide. Thank you Alexa I cant wait to be fluent, I've already learned a lot just watching your videos repeatedly.
Dear Dahiana, they are in the community page. You have access to hundreds of guides. Please let us know if you can't find them.
This video really easy to understand the Possessive adv as I just start learning it but I was so confused before.
Waooh i enjoy this lesson,đđđđ you are the best
Je ne parle pas francais.
That's all I remember from school. Been trying to learn the language from scratch the last few days, but it takes some time, especially if I dont have a tutor yet.
Your videos definitely help me in my efforts, thanks for that! :)
You're very welcome! Keep at it, you will master it in no time!
Alexa at 4:23 you have 'your' twice. Once where it is ton, ton, ta or yes and further down where it is votre, votre, votre or vos. Can you advise why that is and when you use either?
Bonjour Alexa! Can you please explain the two âyourâ adjectives as In one is formal and the other informal? Your response is greatly appreciated â€ïž
I can explain, there are two types of "your"; first one is "toi" / "your" for informal situation with "ton, ta..." and second one is "vous" / "your" for formal situation with "votre...". I just about this in school and for revision I watch this video.

merci beaucoup alexa
Bless youuu Merci!!
Merci Alexa â€
thank you
Hi Alexa, firstly - thank you very much for your lessons. I owe you more than you can imagine. Regarding the Tom and Paul example at 12:58, shouldn't it be 'leurs' as there are 2 nouns, thereby making it plural?
Alexa, Great video! But I can't download the support guide. Does my membership type not allow it?
Thank you my French teacher is prod

Hi can you plz help me correct my french text gramatically. It would mean a lot to me, since I have no help when it comes to french. Subscribed to your channel from a long time btw:-) And really aprreciate your work!
Here is the text:

Teacher, in Spanish, we would say something like, "Son sus plumas", and in order to know exactly whose, we'd need to say, "Son sus plumas de ellas" ... if French the same, like "Sont ses stylos d'elles" or some such? Thanks!
