What Shall We Do Now? + Young Lust (Final Version) (Hopefully)

- This video concludes my project (hopefully) of combining WSWDN and Young Lust to hopefully better fit what was originally intended for the album. I thank you all for the support I've been given throughout this work in progress to completely "fill the empty spaces" in this project, and most importantly, I hope everyone listening enjoys!
Okay seriously, this is fucking perfect. I actually kinda wanna cry. I've been waiting for an edit like this for ages. I'm so mad that Floyd hasn't released a complete version of The Wall including all the songs that were either cut or shortened due to not fitting on the double album back then. Now with digital distribution they could easily release the full complete version of The Wall.
If you think this is good, I implore you to check out my Souncloud where i currently have sides 2 and 3 of The Wall restored in my own fashion. You can find the link to my Soundcloud in the descriptions of my side 2 and 3 playlists on my channel.
i CAN NOT agree more with that, my god

The Wall Immersion Box Set
David has the band name, and he hates The Wall, so he wouldnt make something like that. Also Rogers fighted David for years to launch the Animals Remix.
1:28 Wait, is it “Christ, the oysters are good aren't they?”. If it's, it'd the legendary reference here.
Yes, yes it is
@@k0n158 You're genius!
Lmfaoo it would be😭
these are some good oysters aren't they
I was the 69th like on a comment about oysters. That was a (less legendary) vagina reference.
Even better than the first edit! The addition of the phone call between WSWDN and Young Lust using the demo intro is perfect. You got a talent man!
It reminds of radio kaos if it was fully fleshed out
I wish this version was on the actual vinyl record
It’s like what could’ve been in if they had time to actually think about it
That transition between the studio and live vocals was CLEAN
Where and which song?
there is no live version here.
@@swirtrollszarman106ummm ahkchtually there is
@@legodroideka5505 It's on What Shall We Do Now, when Roger says "with our backs to the wall" a second time
you're a legend for stitching these songs together so seamlessly, amazing
Amazing job man. I've always prefered the film version of Empty Spaces but also always loved how the album version went seamlessly into Young Lust. And I think I speak for alot when I say that. You've made that perfection a reality for us. Thank you!
Empty Spaces [0:00]
What Shall We Do Now? [2:17]
Young Lust [3:45]
(This will happen if What Shall We Do Now? was on the album, but it was replaced by a short version of Empty Spaces)
love this! I think this is how Roger planned it in a manuscript iirc, works so well here, nice going :)
Sublime, I can't say less. Thanks for share your great work.
I will listen to this every time after i listen to the wall just to hear how it was supposed to sound
Very well made! Thank you for your efforts! This too a lot of passion and vision, clearly.
The imagination and talent that it took to create this album is mind-blowing.
I like what you did with Young Lust. Almost like the 'What Shall We Do Now" live album.
I also think you should make smooth transition between "trial" and "outside the wall"(film version)
Will do, friend. I'll make it when I get home. Stay tuned...
The project has been completed. I hope you enjoy this video I made on your behalf czcams.com/video/sRjYz1pJXZU/video.html

WOW. i put this on a playlist of my ideal version of the wall and flows seamlessly. great edit.
This is absolutely fantastic
Liked and subscribed! Nicely done, so glad your channel showed up in the "Recommended" feed.
The artwork is what it should be. Freaking awesome!
Inarrivabili! Oltre l immaginario umano ❤
Good oysters indeed
Incredible work
I appreciate the kind words
This is perfect
The combination of the 1980 tour album, the 1979 album.
Just the transition from WSWDN to young lust was just 12/10
*1979
@@doodooswaggy3825 didn’t see the typo until now
Thanks for letting me know
Love this!!!
So good. Thank you.
Hurt,young love is hurt
Thank you!
WOW THIS IS AMAZING 😮😮😮
Surgical precision. This kicks ass.
Superb. The last repetition “back to the wall”, I would maybe cut and transition before that as it suggests an end rather than a continuation. But that is nit picking- this improves the whole coherence of the segment and improves a legend. 👏👏👏
This is the best
wonderful
neat use of the demo's opening keyboard flourishes! might need to retime it though, i think the demo runs at a faster tempo than the studio version
I don't recall ever tampering with the speed of the demo's keyboard. I just extracted the drums and put them into this song. All I did was place them in tune with the studio version's beat, which may be what you're confusing it for.
@@k0n158 how come the phone dialing sound is lower pitch during the transition?
Would you be able to make a version with the album lyrics of empty spaces? :D I love the lyrics and Roger sounds more refined
Class
i appreciate using the b-side version of young lust
Nada como ouvir um clássico
Excelente
Love this song, I never understood why was it left out of the album, and actually is the second best track of the album, I can’t understand it.
Nice
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I've got a bunch of mp3s of the songs and am trying to put It all together right now
Of like my edited songs or??
@@k0n158Maybe he’s making a new mix, hm
Young Lust forever one of the best tunes !
Where did you get so high quality version of WSWDN? It would be great if you answer!
I was so enveloped in the song I thought I was actually getting called 💀
Perfect
Brilliant
I'm replacing my edit with this as it's much better
what happened to side 4?
I like the album version more than this, but this is very great, perfect even.

What shall we do now 😡
What the wall should have been
Pity there's no way to remove the screams 02:19. That's really the only thing holding it back from being a perfectly 'clean' studio version.
Nah I like Roger's screams💥
@@rafayadnan6138 _You_ might do, but makes no sense without the accompanying visuals.
They add to the atmosphere of the song, plus this wouldn’t be the first pink floyd to have non-music sounds for the sake of mood and atmosphere
It sounds great don’t change the screams it makes it better
@@ParallelSyntax Idk, I feel like the screams fit the tone of the song fairly well without the accompanying visuals. Roger screams earlier in 'another brick in the wall' too and it works fine. However, if you're implying that those particular screams in WSWDN were added after the fact because of the video alone, then I can understand wanting them removed for a studio track version, but it fits the song so well I think it makes sense just to leave them in.
I'm sorry but am I the only one who thinks roger sounds like Squidward, when he sings this part?
Yes your the only one(actually I can hear it)
I can’t unhear it now ☠️
Ur not the only one
What shall we use to fill the empty spaces?
