I legit have had this song stuck in my head on an endless loop, ever since I first heard it while watching Netflix's Inventing Anna..........TWO DAMN WEEKS AGO, and it just will not leave my head no matter what I do lol. After the first day of having it stuck in my head, I thought that for sure sleeping that night would do the trick and it wouldn't be still stuck in my head the following morning. That was a bust, as not even 5 minutes after waking up, I found myself singing parts of it in my head over and over again lol. I tried listening to a bunch of other music with catchy tunes, in hopes that one of those songs would swap out with this and get stuck in my head, because even a different song stuck in my head would be a welcomed blessing and change at this point lol. But low and behold, literally two full weeks later and it is still just playing on constant repeat up there in my god damn aggravating mind lol.

I really liked this song and watched it a bunch of times trying to figure out why and then I realized that the video is actually the opposite of the song. "I'm not walking 'round in circles worried about what he thinks" is EXACTLY what the video is doing. It is a continuous narrative about her "not caring" even though she can't stop talking about it AND the video keeps panning in circles! Its thematic irony and I just love irony...the real kind, not the Alanis Morissette kind.

Really captures that feeling of "trying to seem not to care" because she cares too much.
And you can see clearly that her friend gets more and more annoyed around her when it's just both of them (she only seems to have a good time when there's more people around). The friend shows how clearly she knows that what is being said isn't true and just can't take any longer hearing the same story.
