    When I bought the Tarmac Works Silvia RS-02 Silvia the first one I got was the chase and was a real surprise, and then I had to buy the the actual release hoping I would get the red version!
    I have every Mini GT Nissan SIlvia S15 made to date

    It’s hard to say which one is better because both brands have their respective traits, which is why I collect both brands. I will say this though. If you like your diecast cars to roll. Mini GT is your best bet because Tarmac Works is hit or miss, meaning some cars roll, others roll very well, and others don’t roll at all. Specially the earlier models.

    • @yongling9825
      @yongling9825 Před 4 měsíci

      Usually it's the GLOBAL64 lineup that rolls, especially those made in recent years.

    You can see glue in the corners if you zoom Tarmac headlights. Mini GT does it better. Other than that both models look good.

    Mini GT only comes in the clamshell for US distribution in the Mijo Exclusives. Most of my Mini GT have come just in the celophane wrapped box

      Thanks for clarifying. I was actually worried that mine were unboxed/uncarded, slipped into the smaller cardboard box, wrapped in cellophane and sold at the same price! 🙄

    • @injairgun
      @injairgun Před 4 měsíci

      @@VishnuPrasad-qu6qc Mijo Exclusives is the only company that receives the cars in the clamshell, as I stated they are for North American distribution only, Everyone else gets them in the box. All of my Mijo Exclusives Mini GT have been taken out of the clamshell and stored in the box. The early Mijo Exclusives packaging had all the licenses on the clamshell inserted card and not on the back of the box so if you're a puriist then you won't open the clamshell. I did anyway lol. The new Mijo packaging now has a window behind the box and the licensing is on the box where it should be!

They're getting as expensive as entry level and mid level premium 1/64 diecasts but with only half the details because they're still made to be able to roll in HW tracks and be durable which... For me depends on their price. I mean in S.Korea, TARMAC price is higher than MiniGT. (Hotwheel less than ₩10,000, Greenlight around ₩20,000, MiniGT start from ₩20,000, Tarmac over ₩30,000 normally.)

      depends on the line up. The global64 are the ones that are similar to mini gt prices stuff, the higher prices are hobby 64 lines where they are in acrylic display cases and technically have more details

    I have my first tarmac, inno64, street weapon, mini gt, and kaido house x mini gt coming in soon just to look at all of their differences so I can see what brand I really want to move forward in collecting. I got a couple of each but I really love the way kaido house does their packaging, but I think inno absolutely takes the cake on detail. mini gt seems to be the best for the budget collector though, a great sweet spot between quality and budget with great cars (for my taste)
