Sir, does WHO recommend delayed cord clamping???
There has been a lot of confusion regarding this question. Please clarify
Yes. WHO as well as AIIMS protocol recommend delayed cord clamping. AIIMS protocol 2019 says delay by 60 seconds in term and vigorous preterm neonates. AAP also says delay by 30 to 60 seconds. However, NO DELAYED CORD CLAMPING, i.e. Early cord clampin to be done in HIV-exposed infants at birth. Remember this.

If nothing specified, delayed cord clamping is to be marked. Only in HIV exposure you will mark early cord clamping.
