His presentation covers the research Holden has done into beech leaf disease and their selective breeding program in cultivating resistance in American beech tree saplings.

Look at the flavonoids that the Japanese beech leaves produce in response to the nematode.

My trees are pretty severlely diseased with BLD. Should I cut them down now so I can plant Maple or other trees. Or wait with a hope they can recover?
