Actually those start-up motors ( motorcycle) are weak enough to stop function suddenly while you are on the ride. One will understand what I mean once he completes this project. Considering using something a little more expensive motors is a more reliable option. thanks
Starter motors aren't meant to be used continuesly. They have alot of power but are made to start a motor not be the motor . A pedal assist emoter doesn't need a shit load of power. It is to help you go up hills or just go faster pedaling and or shifting gears for more speed. Or if your a senior citizen (old fart) like me ,to help you get home. Ya i see now on the video,that is a heavy frickin battery. Buy or build a lithium battery pack. 120$ a great battery.

You need a more powerful motor. That motor will not even propell u on the bike. Good learning experience. Keep up the good work. Expand your knowledge.
Yo tengo una idea similar, tengo un par de motores de ventiladores de radiador, pero por donde yo vivo, hay muchas subidas, y no creo que tengan la fuerza suficiente para subir, de hecho eso que tu hiciste, funciona muy bien en lugares planos, pero para una subida, te apuesto que no subes
@@franco1974ism no quiero ser pretencioso, no soy un experto en mecánica, pero se lo suficientente, claro que si le hago una gran reducción, voy a obtener más fuerza, pero voy a consumir más baterías para llegar del punto a, al punto b, y sería muy lenta, porque le podría adaptar una marcha de un motor pequeño, con esa obtendría más fuerza y más velocidad, pero una batería aún bien cargada, no me duraría ni quince minutos, esta bien tu invento, pero funcionaria muy bien en colonias literalmente planas, pero en donde vivo, es una zona de subidas, de hecho tengo una motocicleta pequeña de 60 cms, pero no la uso precisamente por eso, pero en lugares planos jala muy bien,

Their over heat. Burn out. Need a high torque scooter motors.

Puedes siempre y cuando le pongas una caja reductora de velocidad lo compensara con la fuerza
Necesita ser una caja casera de 2 velocidades directa y reducida
