U-boat U-1277

Sunken submarine off the coast of Portugal. It has been lying in the bottom of the atlantic since the end of WWII, in the 8th of May, 1945.
The german crew sunk the submarine in order not to be captured by the russians. They tried to get to Vigo but ended up sinking it 3 miles off the coast of Matosinhos.
