Isn't your low FPS due to having the Reduced Mouse Lag enabled? In the last video I watched you turned it off and the FPS immediately jumped to 100+.

floating wisp head scares me greatly.
Sometimes I think it is a bit strange that an ancient protector who throws a huge rock at a unit just causes so little damage. Wouldn´t it be nice to increase the damage a lot and decrease the attack speed equally. They could implement that the protectors are visibly searching for a new rock on the ground around them for several seconds inbetween two attacks. That would open up some interesting new tactics and differentiate them a bit more from the tower buildings of the other races.
Well it does some AoE, at least. And the old AP missile looks less bouldersomeSo I think that's the design goal, but in general yea, fits a little better to kinda either melee-damage type as ranged and more slow. The old is just better fit to the game, as with most design choies in Reforged grafics..

While in fact Grubby is much more than a streamer, he's a WC3 pro, champion, exceptionally excellent in playing orc, he's perhaps one of the most notorious/potent/competent/experienced orc players on this planet.
A decade ago, Grubby vs Moon was perhaps some of the most entertaining events in Warcraft 3 while Grubby being an exquisite orc monster+master & Moon being an exotic NE artist.

edit: i would like to see the wisps have a 25%(male) 75%(female) appearance when created, since females do more warfare they'd make up the bulk of the wisps
I wish i could play this Game as professionell as u Grubby.Like u and w3! U should try the OLD w3 Version on a surface Tab! I think its even better than the reforged Version on a Desktop PC. The Colors are so nerdy and brillant.the New one got more Details but the old is my absolute Favorite on my Surface!

I think the glow wisps give off around the tree while gathering lumber is a bit much. They are already brighter. Also their portait looks goofy, needs to be more spectral.
I am organically commenting on one of my favorite YT channels. I don't even really play W3 lol, but still enjoy Grubby's content :).

At this point I think the game is beautiful as hell, but units need a resizing. Every unit looks ginourmous compared to buildings. In this video, you can see how TINY are Druids of the Claw in Bear Form, while in WC3 they were huge.

Chris Klemens you can buy other heroes in a shop sometimes. Might be the case. Idk if that’s on every map.

That's exactly the reason I didn't preorder. The fps is so ridiculously low on Grubby's good setup that I wonder whether it would even run on mine over 30 fps...
@@pocolashon Yeah I will keep showing vids to see if it updates in future patches. You have a right to want good performance. Future BETA builds will tell, pre-release.
How can I change the health bars, so that my and my teammates has green Health bars over their heads and my enemy red? This would make it easier to keep them apart

Contact customer support. You should have one! (though it won't actually materialize as a "key", it would just show up in the drop-down bar in your BNET launcher under wc3)

Why your WC3:Reforged looks so smooth? I have glasfiber and a really good system but my games feeels like laggy :(
Hmm might be a framerate thing, or maybe it's glossed over due to stream? Or maybe we have a different PC specs? Or maybe diff settings? Or maybe you have AMD gfx card which has some more issues w/ wc3?

I think many less-satisfying details which sometimes cause confusion, are NOT bugs, I think these happened because Reforged is BEING BUILT, and some part of it has NOT been finished - funny hearing KOTG reading his lines while his avatar head at the right of the mini map just floats without any speech related animation.
Anyone wishes to ask KOTG who his barber be and where did he shaved his beard? 🤣

I've played a couple of starcraft 2 games today, and it's a totally different game ( quality-wise ) comparing to War3 R. Tell Blizzard they should pay more attention to classic things in order to make them better. Instead, they r making it different and that could be huge issue later.

I love this game, and I will play reforged only because we of other countries will have a translation and a dub of all lines of the game. I just swear their mouths will move when they talk in final version, seriously.

is There Anyway to know where to build the barracks and NOT draw aggro from the creeps guarding the mine? I did that today and the creeps were much further away from the barracks than yours in this vid, yet they attacked me :(
That's because you built it at the gold mine dude bro. Gold mine creeps more aggro, observe half a screen of distance at least

Probably only in team matches as DH does not have any aura or other synergy effects, would be my guess.

i feel like the color of the lush and leaves on the ancients should have a livelier color to them. they look a little too dusty and ancient looking.

It's max yeah. But I feel I should be able to display max for ppl who wanna see the max settings.

But as you mention it probably could be more optimized.

the lighting is so off in reforged it hurts the eyes, everything is hazed over and blurred together

Grubby with his incredible PC is getting 40 to 60 fps, means I'm screwed playing on my laptop. Right now I play the classic with 40 fps, meaning I will get unplayable fps for Reforged. Time to get a real PC. 😅
My laptop did surprisingly okay, I think the game just isn't really optimized for higher fps yet. Will have to see upon release, if they make a statement about it.
@@HappyFir3, I hope so. But play with 40 fps and 300 ping is so frustrating man. I need a better PC, and hope that they improve ping problems for us from distant countries. Btw, I'm from Brazil.

I think that the NE buildings looks too gray, with no ''life''. As i remember in classic their leaves where too bright and gorgeous, close with the green terrain color. That is just my opinion, does anyone else agree?
I imagined them as dark leaves that form the canopy of Ashenvale, giving the haunting sense of mystery when trespassers enter the Night Elves' land. Keep the bright leaves to the Eastern Kingdoms, so both continents have their own distinctive biodiversity.

By playing the Warcraft 3 Reforged Beta in the battlenet launcher. Select Reforged Beta instead of regular Warcraft 3 (which is classic). And it is only online/multiplayer atm. Single/custom can only be launched through the Reforged World Edit, and campaign is not released yet (and not until the actual release of Reforged, out from Beta to Full Release)
They have to add new voices... KoTG's original voice does not fit to this younger one, archers voices as well... female dh's voice is like the female dk it seems like as well.
No digital MTX system should have any item that cost more that £2 it's not micro above that and is horrendously overpriced.

@@FollowGrubby Well yeah it cost what to make the model scenario modeler/artist/animator assume they are three separate people. So three salaries assume worst case it takes a week to make a new. £12/hr average wage for a modeler, artist, animator probably less in america that adds up to £1350. Divide that by 100,000 buying it at £2 that's 99% profit at £2.

Grubby unless you want this game to be a flop along with your career you should really urge them to increase contrast and team colors, a lot of people won't play otherwise and blizzard won't have any financial incentive to update and improve the game.
A little dramatic mate, and definitely feedback I've given and they are aware of . Think about it like this: any problems we're seeing is due to corporate pressure most likely, "we must release by when", "we did preorders", it's all marketing decisions. Don't you think the developers themselves want the game to be as good as it can be? They probably already see this feedback 1 million times.

Wings across all fliers in the game got smaller and that makes the flying animation look weird.
Chimeras looked better with feathered wings.
No comment on the general bad state of the game animation. If I wanted just to look at artwork static imagery, would not have bought the game. The flavor is lost on so many aspects of the animation, which I believe is a miss for a game type where exaggeration is a tool.
And What is this obsession with the animal head and armor. It occupies way too much of the models' visuals.
Also the specific to character design for faces has been toned down a lot. The faces look a lot more generic human like, as in WOW. Keeper has generic NE male face now for example. All female faces have a wow-ish action figure face look (UD DK included). If that s a strategy, lol. I really don t think that wow players will start to play RTS just because of some models looking in the same limited way as in their wow game.
Critique is good. Try to pinpoint what you dislike, and what should be changed, into what you feel would fit more.
And I see a lot of WoW hate. Why?
Wc3 gave birth to WoW (even same engine). WoW upped the standard and built upon the herritage of Wc3. Reforged is doing what it should. Upgrading the evolved look of WoW, to a even better and even more complete look. I agree in everything like KotG not having his more-Nature than Human/NE-like face. But it is not a tactic to bring all/more WoW players in on RTS, to experience the lore of Wc3. It is the tactic of reforging and recreating (to a degree) a almost 20 year old game. Animations are done complete. Game Mechanics and gameplay first. Then complete looks, effects, visibility and animations. Atm, like 5% of talking animations are added. (to name one: Villager Male). So that they move and talk/move mouth and lips when sound comes from them.

@@Killer99215 wow art is more generic when it comes to model visuals design and it served its purpose, in WOW, but frankly i don t like that style. I like the heroes to stay unique, as they were in the original wc3. I.e Archmage doesn t look to be a snide bony old man anymore, Keeper has the face of average NE Joe, every woman character face looks the same. Accents to facial features give more character to a character.
Also when you see your units top down from the distance, some essential things need to pop whether permanent or through movement, to feed the imagination. original art for wc3 does that very elegantly with low details. I can give a lot of examples if you say you work for blizz and so I know I can spend my time constructively.
