How do you get the hero portraits at the top left to show the spells and levels. Its so cool
Great match Grubby. I have two questions.
one - When you were roaming in the middle of the map, quite a few times in the match. Were you looking for a fight? or were you just pressuring him to stay away from your mining bases?
second - I noticed you you went 1/1 at some point, but never could go into 2/2? Would it have been better to transition into 2/2 and build a 80 food army since all you were doing was small skirmish's most the match? (Attack and Armor upgrade)
Great match, I can't wait to play Reforged my self and this match gets me excited. I love the way the units looks, although spirit walkers are still a little dull and hard to notice.

That amulet of spellshield on the tauren chieftain turned the game heavily in the orc's favour. So many spells lost to that shield
Grubby pls answer this: Will Blizzard change the portraits of the units and heroes? Did they say to you anything?
Yo Sir Grubby, I wonder if you follow the feedback on WC3 reforged. Many ppl are concerned that this looks (especially from the light and environment) is the final (or very close to final) version of the game. And are very angry. On the feedback forum of Blizz are many who are scared, pissed, frustrated, angry and some with the hope it’s just a separat version or this BETA is just only in the very early stages of development. What do you think? And do you know anything which could hint to something which would give ppl like me the trust to still hope and pre-order? Greetings and keep it up!

Did they change some of the unit portraits at the bottom? The female DK, the dreadlord, and the acolyte seem different at the bottom portait. I know for sure the female DK portait is different... pity i liked the original portait for the female DK more. I like when the portaits are more close up and from the side as opposed to how it looks now. It looks more like a doll or a manniquin now where as the first itteration looked good.

Having not played much WC3 in a while, I forgot how jerky the unit pathing is... But I cant deny the fights are interesting.
i wonder, why didnt you use the banshee possess skill on the strong orc units like the kodo beast. it wouldve increased your and decreased his damage significantly
There is some sort of animations that needs to be done to possess them, and considering how great these players are, the banshees would die before possessing anyone.

Hey Grubby - I'm a huge fan.
Can you give us a list of the best race to the worst race in Warcraft 3? I hear a lot that undead is the hardest/worst and I've seen pretty convincing statistics on total winnings in tournaments that back that statement up (but I am an undead player). I know that undead really struggle to win against orc in 1v1. Maybe if you made a video about this it would get a lot of views. Thanks you rock!

Your asking the wrong question. "Can you give us a list of best race to worst?" it's all really subjective in the end. He answers these questions all the time on stream and in video tutorials. Although I can't remember which tutorial I remember him saying this.
The question you should ask your self is this. "What build order will allow me to fight against the race I'm playing"
So like in this game he went for banshee, crypt, statue. As well as DK, Lich, DL. If you can't tell why he went the units or the comp he did, and why orc went the comp he did. You will never be able to call a race the worst or best. And even if someone told you why a race is better than another. You wouldn't really understand why they say that.

Man. I really want to like the new models. But bruh, i can barely recognize the units and mobs .... I really hope this is just a matter of getting used to ....
I disagree. But one exception is the spirit walkers. They don't really stand out very well.
I really love how the headhunters looked as well as the axe throwers. So cool!
Even playing the beta it's difficult for me to see. Colors AND units are super dark. I really want them to just delay the release, playing it feels worse than a beta.
I think it is to an extent getting used to it, it's becoming easier for me to see what's going on as I'm watching more reforged.
@@nikolasweischner3560 It most just be monitor settings then? My game over all is very bright quite the opposite of what you're describing.
@@fastmadcow Yeah the contrast and such is normal. I think it's just the units honestly. They blend in a fight, needs a slight adjustment to me.

The Death Knight is relatively hard to heal because he cannot be healed with Death Coil.
So I would think RIng of Regeneration is a great item to get on him.

what did you do wrong ? as i can see, u doing perfect job and still lose. im beginner and following your undead bloody guide, so seeing you use dk fiends guide (and you even make an expansion 1st) against orc and lose make me confuse.

Good spot. Thats why blizz need to improve the visual stand out of some units and scaling etc, it was pretty hard to see at glance!

Game was probably awesome but those complex multi unit armies are impossible to watch in reforged. Some minor effects ( statue mass heal) are just too distracting. to much details the lack of color saturation doesn’t do any favors to rts. Also, the terrain looks so weird, lordareon summer tileset seems bland, not colored and with texture next to plastic surface. Hope they fix it
I think crypt fiend's ass is vulnerable because it isn't covered by anti-magic shield
Now it would be cool if they did something like how Nova could spawn as a ghost with some lesser heroes in melee.
Instead of a normal DK, get resurrected Whitemane or something.
But that may come with skins later :)

Why the Legendary in the title?
Found this quite frustrating to watch actually. No destroys. DL kept getting killed. Messy battles where theres no kiting and fiends kept getting killed.
I thought the lasst 2-3 battles were the only ones where it felt like Grubby was playing for real...but at that point Orc 6-6-6 = gg. I actually thought that was the secret mission. To give Orc all 6+ and then win.
Agreed, this was not his best game, maybe the undead playstyle doesnt suit him that well.

Because he's using them to Curse and Anti-Magic Shield to protect his units and he only ever has 2 so using them to possess would deny him access to those skills

Possession takes time to channel placing banshees out of position. They die too quickly

it's really diffucult to tell units apart they have to do something about the contrast and team colors...
Yes, 100% agree ... they all look the same, and one can barely recognize the units.
I disagree to an extent. The nature of Warcraft 3 fights are always a mess of units together and not being able to see them. And I've already gotten use to the new units so it's very easy (for me at least) to tell them apart. The only exception is the spirit walker, it seems very dull and even on "enemy color" it's still like blue or grey or w/e. So very hard to spot it.
I really love the new unit looks though. Once you play with them enough and see them enough. Everything is just like it is in normal warcraft. I think Grubby showed that today in the way he played.
@@fastmadcow A lot of the units clearly are hard to tell in battle and at this point a person playing old TFT would have a much bigger advantage than a reforged player.. I am personally not going to upgrade if they don't improve it a little bit atleast
After watching this, dark ranger looks like a must have against those orcs. Silence tauren so i dont get stomped and heal herself with life drain when not in risk of stun or hex so she dont need so much dk coil. Dread lord looks like he could only be worth after lvl 6 with infernal. This is just my point of view of this game, i could be totally wrong tho
Pit Lord as 3rd is staple more than Dark Ranger against Orcs, but Dark Ranger still has her place in that matchup. You won't be picking Drain Life with her, as maxing Skeletons provide a big frontline buffer and also synergies very well with Lich's Dark Ritual and Death Knight's Death Pact. Also Pit Lord with level 2 or level 3 cleave does a ton of damage and is really tanky. I thought that Dreadlord was a bad choice as well, but he might have been trying things out.
@@RMZ1989 dont you think pit lord would be just another punch bag? Stomp looked just too strong for me, i think any front line would suffer. About the skeletons, disinchant wont dispel them all?
@@staysharp2453 You can use Pact/Ritual the moment you summon Skeletons, also he can't really spam Disenchant, they don't have unlimited mana and has to wait for Frost Armor and Curse to stack up so he can clean it all. Pit Lord is quite fat, he is there to soak up damage, also Howl of Terror is really strong, has huge aoe and you can't dispel it all the time. Btw Silence won't really counter Stomp, it can be dispelled as well.

Yeah it will be good to get modern battlenet support. But I just haven't been able to enjoy the new visuals as much as the originals. Too much of a departure aesthetically. They remind a chinese or Korean mobile game, with a lot of the designs being too busy. I prefer the simplicity of the original visuals so I will stick with those.

i wouldn't have either. dk's mana and skill point is better used on coil or aura given the constant skirmishes.

@@amai2307 83% of the heroes are males, despite being 50% of the population, why is it so weird to give more visual representation, specially since it has no effect on gameplay and those heroes in PvP aren't actually supposed to look like the heroes from campaign, that's why they have different names and now even looks.

they need to tinker with the voice lines when you click on a unit, I don't need to hear the same line every 2 seconds, at least have a solid 5 seconds or so between voice lines unless you are swapping between units. Seems like it would be annoying and I'd have to turn it off entirely

This shit is still so broken. My friend and I have played about 20 2v2s not a single game has ended with all 4 players. How is it possible that desync is still a thing? Blizzard has gone way down hill since the glory days.
