Both rails look great!
Thats awesome!!!
I went with the Bulletpoint Mounting Solution for my 4Runner, so far I have four mounts and probably get one more. I really like the magnet mounts for the phone. Good review, keep them coming.
We appreciate your support!
Dude you have got some sick thumbnails. Somehow CZcams just recommended your content to me...the algorithm can be pretty annoying. You are killin it. Love what you are doing so far!
Thanks man! DUDE weird you commented! I've been following your vids. They're awesome!
Excellent video. Do you think 3M double sided tape would have worked on the first set up? Thinking the industrial strength?
Def not specially when you hit the trail. The heat or even cold on your dash will make that tape pop right out along with the fact that your devices is pulling on it to one side.
I hope you get to 100k subs by the end of this year. Your page is definitely deserving. Just awesome
Thanks! Trying! Lol
Do you ever drive with the iPad Pro mounted? Is it the 12.9”?
They don’t suggest it; I know, but it feels solid enough.
I have and it was fine but I use the iPad mini now. Much better
Great video I think this will work with my GX 460. What are the dimensions?
It's universal and they come in different lengths. Just check the site. This one is the 6" one I believe
Id like to do the same ramrail in my land cruiser. Does 67 still make the adapter?
Not sure for LC. Hit them up!
I am still torn between 67 designs, Bulletproof and or vector system. Hard to decide and pull the trigger. Like always great video and congrats on making 5k!
I was before too lol. But with the Jeep def get vector dock. You'll love it. Then you just have to choose between bulletpoiint or 67. You alrdy know my answer on that one lol
Congrats on 5000 followers Asia
Man this seems so long ago now!
I know this video is old but what length arm is that for your phone mount?
For the phone I went with 6"
I'm now considering this 67Designs mount after a metal failure of my OFFROAM holder. But, you say it blocks your Clock? You didn't put that in your video. Do you have any pics? We're kinda fond of our clock. Thanks
The 67D rail will block the clock a bit yeah.
@@BaptismOverland I asked and received same answer from 67D this morning. Thanks for reaching out so you have video of the Mount you’d already installed? Is it a RAM Mount? And product detail you can share?
@@cancer2900 no it's the 67D rail that's in front of the clock. This was AFTER I had installed the ram one on the dash as at that time 67D didn't have a rail system yet. RAM and 67D mounts aren't compatible due to diff ball sizes but 67D has some adapters. I don't like them much. I would have rather not had the RAM stuff
@@BaptismOverland You drilled through your dash, yes? How was that? Did you make a video?
@@cancer2900 yes. I regret it lol. But there's a video. "4Runner first mods" or something like that
DO YOU SEE ANY REASON WHY YOU COULDN'T USE SOME 3/4 INCH STAINLESS STANDOFFS ON EACH BOLT HOLE TO LIFT THE RAIL AND EXPOSE THE CLOCK
Hmmm. That could work and worth a try! Or maybe longer bolts with spacer. It might reduce some of the stability you get though with the rail not being fully flat on the surface. I wouldn't want the devices on the mount starting to bend the plastic surface due to weight.
Hmm.. you're still drilling holes in the dash, plus blocking the clock and that top storage area. I actually think the RAM mount is a better solution.
So after installing it, the clock isn't as blocked as I thought it would be. The rail is pretty far back enough that it doesn't over shadow.
This is what kind of sucks about the Yotas in that I haven't seen many systems that I like that doesn't require all the drilling. So I tried to find things that are more discreet. Both these systems looks sleek enough that it could be stock and not overt (until you start putting the arms that is)
But for the most part I agree with you. But at least this vid will help others decide for themselves which system would look better vs having both like I do
@@BaptismOverland I just emailed the 67 co. asked if they are comng out with slightly taller mounts for the rail. All it needs is like a 1/2 inch or 3/4. Thanks for your vid ! I subbed
@@g.fortin3228 right on!!!
The stupid thing to do by drilling holes on your car dash? Yet you drilled another set of holes on your dash for new rail.
Yeah but that dash piece can be replaced. And I have no regrets now because we actually use both rails believe it or not. The front handles GoPro and long arm for iPad and the front one for the phones. It worked out. If I woulda known 67 would come out with a rail system I wouldn't have gone with RAM. But what's done is done. We move on.
ᎮᏒᎧᎷᎧᏕᎷ ?
Very cool but too much shit in the window, its small enough as it is.
I mount only what's needed. Never daily driving. There's barely anything during that time. I'll put the other stuff if I need the iPad or the gopro on trails. But otherwise it's just phone holders.
@@BaptismOverland I saw your original video on installing the RAM mount, and decided that I'm owning my 4Runner until it's completely used up, so I installed the RAM mount in the same place and I am satisfied with it. My question is whether I should replace the RAM arm and x-grip with the 67 Arm for the 1-inch RAM ball and the 67 phone holder. The RAM are is a bit bouncy. Do you thing the 67 arm and phone holder are more stable than the RAM is? The 67 is a bit more expensive but if it doesn't bounce as much it would be worth it.
