Kusumapriya - Maadu meikkum kanne by Navina Gunasegaran

Navina's choice of a second song for this year's creative work is a tamil song, the famous composition of Oothukadu Venkata Kavi - 'Maadu meikkum Kanne', inspired by kutti Ishanvi Hegde.
During the continuous lockdowns, children like Navina developed physical pain and lethargy, and this was the time when we had to incorporate creative learning by watching others videos. She bounced back with a joy and smile, and found a chance to occupy her restlessness and loneliness by self study, and learning to reproduce choreography, as much as she could follow, and had incorporated her own interpretations and style in it.
We are grateful to Laasya for putting this video up, for it has enabled others to experience abhinaya exploration especially when a child is an inspiration to another from a distant land.
Using close up shots and retelling it from different angles, Navina is shown portraying two characters.
