The Super Petrel was born in Brazil in 2002, and over the years has advanced in design and technology. The latest advance is an entirely re-designed and re-engineered aircraft in the spirit of the original that has sold 399 versions. The new Super Petrel XP sets a new benchmark for the Light Sport Amphibian Aircraft category. Available in 2023, with either the 912is Rotax or the Turbo 915is Rotax

Very disappointing to see that the cost of the new version of this aircraft has gone up by almost $100,000 US in the last couple of years… ($289,000 USD…$389,000 CAD)…With prices like that, this company is clearly only interested in selling to a very, very small select group.
