Great classic gothic horror film ! I've never been inside an old burial vault, just seen old black and white photos but the set design here looks as though one might imagine it to be - grungy, grimy, cobwebs and God knows what dripping all over the place whereas in the earlier Universal studios horror films, such sets were always very pristine and squeaky clean, like museum displays. There was never a single spider strand in sight ! The imagery here in this scene from the from the film is a lot creepier and appropriate !
