I love Donald Faison as Booster Gold! He’s got the charm, attitude and personality that is needed for this character. If they were going to do an eighth season, they would need to do a couple things with him: redeem himself amongst the Legends, include Skeets (possibly because played by Zach Braff), and give him a super suit. Plus I think if the other Legends were to get endings, here’s a few ideas that I have: Sara gives birth to a son and raises him with Ava in present day, the Tarazi siblings head back to their own time to explain a little about their lives to their parents, Spooner, Astra, Gideon, Gary, Gwyn Davies, his boyfriend and Mike, are all given the mantle as the new Legends by the Time Cops, which permits them to travel through time and thwart any danger to the timeline.
According to Caity, Booster was introduced as a way to save the show because the ratings were down. They thought someone big was necessary so they requested Booster Gold and the producers agreed. Too little, too late. He was meant become a regular in case you are wondering.

even though I stopped watching Legends during Season 4, and I hardly recognize the show anymore, it was cool to see Booster Gold finally brought into The Arrowverse, but it is still sad that Legends got Cancelled, according to Caity Lotz; had an Eighth Season went ahead, the Legends would've been forced to work off their prison sentence training rookie time travelers in how NOT to time travel. I bet Booster Gold would've been a big part of the eighth season, had we got to see more of Donald Faison's Booster Gold, devoted DC Comics Fans probably would have hated this version of The Character, it isn't comic book accurate, but I am excited that he's getting his own TV Show from James Gunn i'd watch it (but I don't like The Rest of what he's announced for his DCU)

even though I stopped watching Legends during Season 4, and I hardly recognize the show anymore, it was cool to see Booster Gold finally brought into The Arrowverse, but it is still sad that Legends got Cancelled, according to Caity Lotz; had an Eighth Season went ahead, the Legends would've been forced to work off their prison sentence training rookie time travelers in how NOT to time travel. I bet Booster Gold would've been a big part of the eighth season, had we got to see more of Donald Faison's Booster Gold, devoted DC Comics Fans probably would have hated this version of The Character, it isn't comic book accurate, but I am excited that he's getting his own TV Show from James Gunn i'd watch it (but I don't like The Rest of what he's announced for his DCU)
