I don't think Jess screwed up Hoyt's life. Jess wanted to be independent and Hoyt wanted her to be his mom. Go figure, it didn't work out. People grow apart and break up everyday. Hoyt is a big boy, he'd have gotten over it.

We do love our Jessica and Pam! I was feeling that the whole season had been fairly lame...until the Finale! Hero Eric...swoon! Mirella's uniqe birthing experience. Fun moment with Lafayette and his margaritas. Alcide defeating the crazy old pack leader and looking like a super hero.
No he was babied all his life. I think he really matured after they broke up. Eventhough I love hoyt and jess together I think it was for the best that they broke up. Jessica needed something less monogomist and hoyt needed to become the man he is now. I love his character and hope he comes back in season 6!!XD

I Love Pam!
I feel really bad for Jessica. She barely have enough people who genuinely care about her. There's Sookie and then hopefully Tara. As for Pam, maybe. But she didn't learn alot from her maker and he went batty, and she screwed up her relationship with Hoyt (it's one thing they broke up but he rid his memories of her so they cant even be friends), and Jason just wants nothing to do with her. Also she doesn't even have human family members or childhood friends who she can hang with.
Nxt season better b better . 1st season was the best .goes off in to many directions
