The US Open is the final Grand Slam of the year and takes place at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. The 2021 US Open saw Russia's Daniil Medvedev and Great Britain's Emma Raducanu claim the men's and women's singles titles. It was both players' first major title, with 18-year-old Raducanu becoming the first-ever qualifier to achieve the feat. The 2022 US Open main draw is scheduled to go ahead between August 30 - September 11.

i thought i was a fan of all european women that grabbed a major or two here or there but in the absence of serena i really don't care about tennis. it dawned on me earlier. i watched because of serena. she was the heel that made me a fan.
Me too, I didn't follow tennis that much in 2017, and outside of the tournaments she played from 2018-21 I hardly paid an attention to tennis.
She's the reason I followed and loved this sport

Serena was a problem from day 1!! Just rewatching these videos wheb she was in her teens playing, the girls today dont even compare. She fought for every point and of course has a monster serve.
