There peacefulness of the video and seeing all the good foods you have in vending machines. American vending machine food is terrible. If you ever come here don't buy anything but snacks and drinks (you cannot buy beer) from the vending machines.
If I had time travel, then doing some of it on ferry would definitely be a possible choice. Thank you for sharing this and a part of your world with all of us! 🥰
What an interesting trip report. First time I watch such a report from the Japanese eyes. It's outstandingly detailed information, I almost taste the food you're ordered. Outstanding. But I just wonder why to take three days on a ferry instead of a flight. Thank you again for the excellent trip report.
I have seen this room before on another channel. Im sure the Japanese fried chicken tastes like fried chicken elsewhere in the world lol looks nice :D Yes I prefer a bed :) Also the coffee cup for 2 is great value @1 usd ;) I prefer private room to sharing. 35 hrs is fine, I could do much more altho I think £140 a night is a lot for one person considering there is no buffet service, no free stuff like toiletries, slippers, pyjammas etc like on other ships. £70 a night would be more appropriate In my opinion, which means nothing :D
That price is a bit ridiculous for what you get. I feel like they will end up pricing themselves into irrelevance, for that price you could fly to your destination and get a proper hotel room with awesome restaurants all over the place. It seems like it should be the cheaper option, no?
Love the video just subscribed to your channel. I was stationed in Sasebo in 1988 on board a ship (USN). I loved Japan and would love to return someday. Especially Japanese food and hot baths.
That's because these ferries are mostly used by those who are truck drivers (and they prefer to sleep) and people who don't want to pay for the Shinkansen and have much time at hand.

Hi Laura from Atlanta, Georgia here. Are y'all still under Tsunami warnings? Here we are under a tornado watch for the night. We are having them in the southeast of the United States about twice a week now. But I always look forward to your videos. You are the least stuck up CZcamsr that I subscribe to. How you're so personable and you draw your viewers in and engage us is amazing. And you don't constantly ask people to like and subscribe. Instead you make a person just WANT TO subscribe!!! Oh, I guessed the fee would be 160 USD, it was 180 USD. For the Japanese to sleep on the floor don't they need Tatami mats? Did I get that right!?! Be safe and I can't wait for the next one! 💜🌎🌍🌏🇱🇷☮🇯🇵
Hi Laura. I didn't know that tornadoes are happening frequently in the southwest of America now. Are you okay? I was surprised to see the videos and photos on Twitter. Please take care of yourself.
@@shibatravel hi sugar. I actually live in the southEast. The southWEST never gets tornadoes. I think that no matter where a person lives there are problems unique to that area. Here in the southeast we have tornadoes. On the west coast of the USA they have earthquakes. You have earthquakes and tsunamis. I have lived through so many tornadoes that I honestly couldn't tell you how many. We have a tornado siren in town and it goes off every Wednesday at noon as a practice drill. When there is a tornado on the ground headed our way we grab our pets and head to the basement. They are common in the spring so we have a long way to go. Please be safe Shiba!! I have gotten use to your videos and now I like to call you my friend. ☮❤💜💛💖
Well, no matter where we live, there are natural disasters.I have no experience with tornadoes, so it's very scary. I hope you and your family are well.
this was a beautiful video of how to travel by this ferry, I would enjoy it for real, lots of time to have to think, read, and experience. You did a marvelous video showing us everything, thank you.
This is my first time watching your videos and I love them. They are very relaxing and certainly idyllic. You have gained a follower. Greetings from Spain, darling. 🤍
EXCELLENT PHOTOGRAPHY Shibao San. Your work with the camera was very professional. I loved the way you panned very slowly, which gave the viewer the time to take in what your lens was looking at. Keep up the Excellent work! The food on that Ferry was also BRILLIANT. I wish you had given a description of what you put on the TOFU at Breakfast, which was light orange in colour and appeared to be stringy. It is very important to the viewer who is not familiar with all Japanese cuisine to know the nature of the food as I would like to try it out in a Japanese restaurant in Melbourne. I am quite partial to Japanese food and could eat it all day long. You want to know "what is your perfect moment?" My perfect moment was THE ENTIRE VIDEO. Sayonara!
I like to stay with my husband, so not much privacy at night for years. It seems a little expensive but I like that you are not cramped at any time or have to sit in one space for hours. If I had the time I would always pick a ferry there. I live in Wisconsin, USA, and we have two ferries that go across Lake Michigan but they are short trips and don't look comfortable. If we want to take the car it is so much more expensive than it is to drive around the lake so we never do, even though we have to drive through crowded Chicago freeways to get where we are going. The beer is very inexpensive on that ferry you rode, anytime we are someplace trapped inside here the price of beer is much higher than $2 a can. I love Japanese ferry videos. I find them relaxing. I have also seen that ship on another channel but another perspective is nice. I would bring a book and some knitting if I would be on one that long, but I don't think I could tolerate the airplane ride to Japan as I am a very tall woman (185cm) and airplanes are uncomfortable so much that I don't ride them even within the US if it can be avoided. Even when I went to Toronto, Canada, I drove there. Thank you for the video. I have subscribed.
Thank you. Knitting on the ferry is going to be a wonderful time. If you have the opportunity to travel to Japan, you can enjoy traveling by combining ferries and bullet trains. I think there are direct flights from Minneapolis and Chicago, so please consider it someday.
